Hopefully, either a new side story or two mixed into the old ones. The old ones updated to be more explicit, fitting to how the series is now, or some new pics.

Hopefully not just a collection of old and nothing new.

It's most likely going to be the three EX volumes and the Jin story featuring the divine realm that was originally promised to release with volume 12, but became far longer than Uesu originally intended. Ookuma said yesterday that volume 13 is currently being worked on, So there's a possibility there could be even more content.

May 31st or June 1st is technically still spring. We won't know the exact release date until it's 1-1.5 months before the date.

You heard wrong. The author wrote himself into a hole with Hagure Yuusha and the characters suffered as a result. Hagure Yuusha was unpopular and considered to be convoluted. I doubt he'll ever return to it. It's on an indefinite hiatus, the author (Uesu Tetsuto) and the artist (tamago no kimi) are both working on several independent projects. It's been almost 8 years since the last volume came out.

More's the pity. Still, now that Uesu made a hit with SMnT I think it's past time he did himself a favour and finished the story for Hagure Yuusha. It would be one less thing on his plate.

It’s been some time since he last worked on haguee, he might have lost interest on it. Or might even lost the plot. Shinmai however, have potential for more. I mean, there’s still jin’s Story - he could perhaps even expand it, making it several spin-off or sequel series. Or he can create conflict between Basra and hero clans of other religions (Islam, Hindu, etc.) perhaps.

Shinmai Maou is very good as it is. Jin is not that type of character that needs his own sequel.
