Cats go for prey that fits their size. They tend to hunt the biggest prey that they can comfortably take down.

Cats the size of catgirls don't hunt mice. They would maybe target goats, bunnies and turkeys.

Catgirls are so human-like, they usually can eat human food just fine. But even if you'd assume they can only eat meat, they would probably prefer steak over mice.

Though she's a yokai, Neko-musume appears to eat human food in Kitarou. As I recall she ate one of the picnic sandwiches Mana made, She's way too sophisticated to eat something like a mouse! My neko, on the other hand ...

serious answer, no way, the mice won't be able to provided the energy needed for cat girls to move and active as they are, you need to eat an amount needed relative to your body size.

Semi serious, Look at your own neko, and your neighbor for that reference, how many cat do you think actually still eat mice nowaday ?? i mean dosmestic cat, not wild one.

Weird answer. Frankly human eat mice as well, i know many regional dish use mice as material for cooking, and if they are well cooked, i'd say cat girls are fine eating it ???
