Weirdly, this update has not affected my fps in any noticeable way. If anything it's improved.

My FPS hasn't decreased but I can't see as far as I used too. Also on EU2 at least, the servers are very laggy.

Seeing the default lighting makes me impatient for the return of the Improved Lighting Mod.

I actually haven't seen a horde of Japanese tanks... yet.

I wondered for a moment about his death and the mourning surrounding it. While it's a sad thing that the guy has passed on, and while it's true that the AK-47 is a pretty awesome weapon, I can't think of any extraordinary respect Kalashnikov deserves for his invention that we should particularly miss him for. He was just a soldier and designer who did his job, and happened to make something famous. Personally I respect him more for the fact that he defended his people in the war and not that he made a super-widely-produced assault rifle.

So I tried putting in Improved Lighting Mod despite it not being up to date for 8.10 and I got a lot of volumetric fog. Still playable, but I couldn't see to the end of the draw box.

I tried selectively removing bits of the mod and ended up in Rebuild of Evangelion.

~~I messed it up a bit further after that, to the point where I have no lighting... except that I only erased the files that I added for the mod. Confusing.~~ Accidentally removed the custom hangar lighting files also. Solved.

Not really, but when he does something stupid i make sure he is aware :P There was never a trio since i only played about 200 games at most with Atsuki. He likes to seal club with 105mm that i hated doing back then.

Yeah the 105mm was ridiculous. And at one point last year WG had gold shells on sale and/or M4 100% credit bonus for something like 4 weeks in a row. It was like they were begging you to do it. That singlehandedly prevented me from grinding any tier 5 tank and had to resort to accumulating free xp.

I think the HEAT sale marathon was designed to make everyone so sick of getting derped to death that they'd welcome the HEAT nerf which came.

Though while it was happening I did exploit it while I could. Now that accuracy is buffed I don't feel the need to. Plus money.

My new T18 is running the 2-pdr. I don't feel like smacking people with 2800-credit RNG-dependent giant-aiming-circle trolling at tier 2.

I remember dumping like 2 million credits into HEAT rounds during the sale, only to get them resold to me after some patches messed up the penetration values. While they were at it, they also decided to reset my "service" settings so that I would expend gold instead of credits after the battle. Ugh...

I have never once claimed a code with the website telling me it was a success. It's always a combination of invalid code, connection time out and code already claimed. But in the end I still get it most of the time.

I probably got it, based on the number of days I had remaining in my premium account before and after I started trying to hammer codes in. But damn is it annoying.
