I suspect we're going to have the following, and in order: Fairy Tail battle, Luxus's past (which will be included in the battle arc), and then some arc to reveal natsu's past, quite possibly involving this Wendy character

Ah, that bit... but I thought it was some sort of transformation magic that someone else applied, and it was just due to where he was and that attitude that they thought it was him

A rather interesting chapter, things are getting pretty intense.

The whole thing with Natsu is confusing, but the possibility of him being a Dragon is interesting.

I also like how Master Makarov points out Erza as first on his list of able to possibly beat Luxus.

Macau's son brought a lizard to the guild, saying "My dad captured Natsu". The others believe that this is Natsu, at least at first. There are 2 possible explanations for this.

1) Natsu can usually transform into a lizard.

2) Macau can transform other people.

We know Macau can transform himself, but I don't remember him transforming others, so I don't know about option 2. The other thing that makes me lean to option 1) is that a lizard can be viewed as a tiny dragon. So, if Macau could transform Natsu, why did he transform him into a lizard of all things?

Perhaps it's just coincidence, perhaps it's meant to throw us off, I don't know. However, we know almost nothing about Natsu's past, despite him being raised by a dragon, so coupled with today's revelation that he might be over 80 years old, I think the possibility that he might be a dragon is starting to shape up.

Don't jump the gun .

Makarov simply thought that Erza is the only one from the current guild members that stands a chance to defeat Luxus. He also thought that it Natsu got fired up, he could pull it off. It doesn't necessarily mean Erza is the best possible choice to defeat Luxus. I still think Mist Gun or Gildartz can make an appearance. Although, I'm pretty sure Natsu will be the one to defeat him in the end.

Considering how surprised they are that he might be over 80 years old, I don't think they know he's a dragon or anything like that. I think it's much more plausible that Macau's got transformation magic.

I say it'll end in a draw with Luxus finally being resocialized (or giving up leaving the guild on his own without resistance) in the end hence the flashback we saw and given the fact that even Gerard turnt 'good' at the end of Tower arc although due to 'forced exorcism'. That's just speculation of course and most of you will be glad to know that i'm usually pretty off

It seems more logical to assume the person who has transformation magic transformed Natsu instead of Natsu suddenly being able to transform -_-

Perhaps Natsu has been around for 80 years or more but hasn't actually lived that long. I can't really remember but I don't think the circumstances of Igneel's disappearance have been explained yet.
Perhaps Natsu was in some sort of "stasis" during a lengthly period of time and awoke to a world where Igneel was gone, perhaps Igneel kept him in such a stasis for reasons not yet known until he was finally allowed to awake. Gizelle isn't around at the moment, perhaps he suffered similar circumstances. Major speculation, I know, but I find it difficult to believe he's a dragon just yet.

probably when Erza first saw Sieg and thought it was Gerard, she attacked him from what I recall.

... Are you serious??? You don't know what Sieg was refering to when he said 'don't mention that in front of the Council'????

He was talking about the Tower situation. Remember when Jeral told Ezra that if she talked about the Tower, that Jeral will kill everyone who remained there (all of Ezra's old friends). If Ezra had spoken up about it to the Council, Jeral would have killed everyone back at the Tower and she didn't want that.

Spoiler for Chapter 109:

So the battle begins. This chapter showed briefly the skirmishes between the guild members.

Gray vs Bixlow and Elfman vs Evergreen as well as the other minor characters.

Elfman fought with a full body transformation while blindfolded to avoid her eyes and relied on his primal instincts. He kinda reminded me of Illidan from Warcraft 3.

After this chap, the question is just when will Natsu fight luxus and change his mind....
