I have a feeling that the King will be a villain, he probably won't be to happy with SS for letting Aizen open up a gateway to his realm. He will probably just order the Royal Guard to kill everyone in Fake Karakura Town.

You're right Mike, but to me it's kind of hard to misstranslate Bankai... I mean isn't it the same exact word (just written in Kanji) in Japanese?? I don't know, but there is something wrong with that first phrase in the chapter. I made my mind up last night around 2am that it was his shikai. It is powerful, but it isn't Bankai material IMHO.

Ichigo hasn't been effected by Shinji's ability yet.

Maybe Shinji will turn his ability now when Ichigo arived. Or he did this some moments before Ichigo arived. But the question is will Ichigo fall under the effects of Aizen's ability?

That´s what I like about Gin. We are close to fourhundred chapters and still we don´t know anything aybout Gin except that he´s a genius captain, and has been on Aizen`s side since he was a child.

2) Big Damn Heroes

So yeah I'm gonna go with #1, resolve can dispel illusions because of the high concentration of spirit particles having an osmose effect around its source, and Ichigo's reiatsu has always been over 9000. As to why the other captains got captured, they lack the resolve of being main heroes. ha!
