Story is ok so far,but how old are the characters? Rie is 18 I think and Shusuke 14?

Think I'm the same as well atm, nothing to really point out but can't say I dislike it either.

I feel that the narrative style for this one would have made it a record breaking world level success work something like 15 / 20 years ago. It's not like it's bad for today's standards, but I'm guessing that many are going to find this work a little bit too old school for some tastes.

So, in chapter 2 a few hints that where thrown in chapter 1 are developed further. If we are going by the whole "fated to meet" thing that some authors love to pull off, it wouldn't be weird for Shusuke's & Rie's own individual tragedies to share a common starting point (like, an organization or evil master mind).

No it's not a harem. At the moment there is no romance development. We have a mc guy who talks too much and a mc girl who's skilled with the sword. Together they are doing some jobs. And also trying to find the truth about who murdered both their family.

And I think this manga would never turn into a harem because that is not what the story is about. Besides the mc guy is not a typical harem character. And he is not someone who is surrounded by many girls.

It has a nice plot. It's a monthly manga. But each chapter has some 46 pages so, it's not that bad.

It's translated till chapter 8.

Plot is starting to get pretty intense in the latest chapters. I'm glad they're done with the case of the week plots.

The whole "rent" gag has already run its course. Sadly, they're probably going to continue beating us over the head with it until the series nears its end (or gets cancelled first, as that would be the obvious sign ). __________________
