Looking for officially translated series kind of like Spice and Wolf

So I'm currently halfway through my orders of Spice and Wolf and... will eventually manage to order the remainder.

I'm currently looking for interesting officially translated reads done by companies like Yen Press and... okay fine Seven Seas Entertainment. I mentioned Spice and Wolf because I'm looking for something more serious and not typical fluff pieces. Manga also applies.

I'm currently undecided if I want to get the Gunslinger Girl Omnibuses because Amazon doesn't have the last volume for some reason. Likewise I'm not exactly keen on reading through all the descriptions on their translated works since most of them I'll be going in blind. I'm familiar with S&P and Gunslinger Girl because I watched their animes first.

So... yeah if anyone can recommend translated works I can order online it would be swell. No specific requirements, just a general avoidance of silly fluff work (I have anime for that).

What about online manga companies requiring subscriptions, like, say, Crunchyroll? That apply?

I would prefer physical book bound copies. I'm kind of old school with book collecting. Likewise I... well let's just say I don't have very positive experiences with owning digital copies.

How about the Guin Saga novels? They're considered fantasy classics in Japan and inspired a lot of writers and mangaka down the line.
