Need help finding two types
I'm looking to find two types of anime to watch with some new found free time.
The first type I'd like is a real laid back type. One where there isn't a whole lot going on and very little or no action/drama yet it still somehow manages to like be good(best way I can think of is the episode of Haruhi where Kyon spends an entire episode just getting a heater for the club). No idea if what I'm looking for even exists or if my description was even good but hopefully someone will get something =D. The second type should be much easier to fulfill I think. Just a simple romance anime that is serious but it isn't harem and is also rather recent(like anywhere from 2003-2007 lol) |

laid back: Genshiken 1 and 2 of course, laid back anime at its finest
romance non harem: kimikiss pure rogue ( still airing ). it may appear as a harem anime but if you look closer its more like 2 love triangles and a linear relationship |

Another nice one that does not get too silly or harem like is Lamune (2005), about a pair of childhood friends who gradually start to become a couple. If you are willing to read the manga, I would recomend His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano). It's a great romance story, but the anime does not do it justice and was never properly finished. Hope that gives you some ideas. |

Laid back anime: Hidamari Sketch, Sketchbook ~Full Color's~, ARIA the Animation, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, Someday's Dreamers, Ichigo Mashimaro, Minami-ke, Manabi Straight, all of those are excellent series
Non-harem romance: ef ~A Tale of Memories~ is the best you're likely to get |
