Hey everyone. I was just curious on what you guys thought was the best Final Fantasy game. The only one i have played is FFX and i liked that alot but i have heard the story and seen lots of parts from number 8 so i think thats my fav ^__^ number 7 is supposed to be real popular aswell ^__^
Well lets go!
P.S i knew i wouldnt be able to fit all of the games on coz ya can only do a maximum of 10, thats why i added the "not listed" and the "hate em" lol bye

7 is the best in my opinion. It's the reason why I started playing RPGs in the first place. Plus, Sephiroth is probably the best villain in FF world.

Heh... sometimes I think the General Chat guidelines really need to be updated...

Anyway, my favorite FF games are FF1 and FF6. My least favorite is Mystic Quest.

Kefka is just plain psycho and Sephiroth is cool that's why a lot of people likes him compared to Kefka. I should probably rephrase best to coolest but for me Sephiroth is both (as I stare at my Sephiroth cold-cast statue).

That would be FF6(it's just perfect in any aspect,i love everything about it,especially Terra's Theme, it's such a catchy tune

Plus FF7, which i played...a gazillion times at least(or let's say until i actually saw every single limit-break and secret in the game) and i just HATE Sephiroth for reasons that should be known to any FF7 gamer out there. Really, that's the only fictional character i want to kick all day long..and maybe some more

ive played ff8, almost finished ff9 and ffx..

my opinion is that, ff7 is the best.. then ff9, then ffx... worst is ff8.. i hate it so much..

PS: And yes, I like FFVIII whether you guys like it or not. Too bad~
And I know what I'm talking about since I played them all (except FFXI-still saving money for it).

I'd probably say FFX and X2 are the best because of graphic wise and the stroyline is good plus its the only final fantasy game that ever had a sequal to it

Final Fantasy 7 was pretty much the most enjoyable IMO.

even though i have fond memories of 6 i had to vote for 7. i also liked 9 too.

I voted Not Listed, because my favourite is FF:CC. Even though it's different from the other FF series, it's the changes that I like. No more dull turn-based stuff, but live action. I must admit that I haven't played all of them, but I've played FF6 FF7 FF8 FF9 FFX, and FF:CC (briefly, though long enough to make it my favourite). Runner up is FF8.

I like Final Fantasy Tactics because mixing classes is just plain cool and so is the battle system. It's sort of like playing chess.
