He wonders if he should [Draw]? Just when he's thinking about that, something big enter his sight, it's the orc king. Just when the Orc king laughed like a pig it is, it's head slowly dropped to the floor. In front of him is Yuu, "It's not like I have any grudge to all of you but, ......It's all for Sherry's love, so die"

Yuu then went on a rampage, slay and chase all orcs he see, midway, he heard the voice of a girl screaming for help. It's the sound of a girl who is going to be raped. Yuu went to the room, and [Draw] his pal, the holy sword Alto Freed. but when he do it, he realized it too late... the nest is collapsing.
The perspective changed to the villager of Carroto, they are bewildered. The young man who come and accept their request, hasn't come back from the goblin nest. The sun has set and it's already dark...suddenly a pillar of light appeared, from the way where the goblin nest is. It shoots out and pierce the sky, shining brightly in the darkness of night. After it settled down the next thing that happened, the ground rumble violently, the villager thought, was it an earthquake? They panic, and in the middle of their panic, they realized: a young man is standing in front of the gate. The young man with black hair from before. He asked for help, caring for a survivor he find. And then,
"Head Villager. The orcs are annihilated but I can't find any goblin. The quest failed, sorry for that".

I opened my eyes, and in front of my eyes is an unknown room. When I raise my body, I suddenly feel pain shoot through all of my body. A woman suddenly came in, her hair is light brown and she asked me if my body is fine. I answered, although my words are clumsy. I know my Ishrel Language is bad, but I think it's better than a few years ago in the elves village. Glad that I'm fine, she introduce her name as Sherry. I also introduce myself as Lililuri, in Elven old words, it means" The person who heals". I then ask Sherry, is she the one who saved me? but she said no, the one who saved me are a man called Yuuya Shirou.
"Is this...the man?"
"Yes, he sleeps well, isn't he?"
In front of me, is a man, sleeping slovenly while muttering perverted words. I'm speechless. When he suddenly make a gesture of kissing, I feel even more disgusted, this shabby guy, is the one who saved me? Sherry smiled and said that he is an interesting guy, I can't understand. Sherry said, this guy, he is perverted but the way he frantically tried to hide it is cute. Sherry, she must be a devilish girl, that's what I thought.
And then, I started to observe him.

- Past afternoon, Yuuya Shirou who is playing with childrens. Seems like he had make a promise with the childrens before and now he is playing with them. It's a game called [Game-of-tag]. Looking at him trying to hide in the corner of a wall, I ended laughing myself. But when he sees Sherry, he started to move inhumanly and caught the other kids, and run quickly. THe kids who sees him are delighted, is he wants to impressi Sherry? As I though, he really is just a pervert.
- Yuuya Shirou who is swinging wooden sword. After done playing with the kids, he asked Sherry's grandfather to lend him a wooden sword and started swinging it in the garden back of the house. He raised it, and then swing it down, raised it and swing it down. He repeated that movement many times. At first I thought his movement was boring, but while looking at him repeating that move, I started to think it was beautiful. That refinement of movement, even I understand that something as savage as a fencing, he turned it into a supreme art. After repeating it several times, he suddenly thrust the wooden sword to the ground and started to take off his clothes. Undressing outside like this! He really is a pervert! is what I thought while being panicked. When he throw his shirt to the ground, I heard a weird sound not unlike a clothes falling down. I then understand that he perspirate more than usual and the sweats are collected in the shirt.
Underneath the shirt, the body that appeared from it, how do I say it, this is also very amazing.
I guess "it doesn't have useless fat" would be the best words to describe it. It's as if that body is perfected to move as fast as wind, endowed with a muscle that's similar to monster. It's not too muscular but somehow, I just can't get my stare off from it. While topless, this time he did not just practice swinging, but swinging it as if there is an enemy in front of him. Everytime he swing, the wooden sword produces the sound of cutting air.
He glare at the empty space and the sharpness of his gaze, makes me shudder with fear.
It was like saying, I won't let you escape. I thought, the enemy who fights against him, if there is, must have lost his will, eaten by fright and awe. And against that enemy, who is slowing down, he will bring it down, just like a cunning snake. There's no enemy who would not be scared, but my expectation was betrayed...in a good way.
He smiled.
It was not an arrogant smile, it was just a pure smile of enjoying battle, a smile like that of a child. *throb* I can feel my heart is throbbing.
......What stupid thing I was thinking. nay, I was wrong. That smile, that gaze is sent toward "someone" who he approved of, as a worthy opponent capable of giving an enjoyable fight. If "that person" is here right now, this fight might have been a duel of the century. Somehow, the fact that I can't see that person, makes feels dejected.
After swinging a few more slash, while moving in a beautiful way..I already forget how much time has passed. And when he stand in stillness, I know that the fight had ended. Who can blame me for thinking that wooden sword as an excellent sword. And before I know it, I clapped my hands in applause.

This chapter starts with Yuu cursed this world, and asked someone to kill him. (*reason: he found out that Sherry already married). Yuu then said he had a good time 5 days after saving the little girl, Lililuri. He then asked "to all the people in front of the monitor who standing up hearing the word little girl" why so surprised? He can't understand, since He is not interested. He also said why the anger? she is a child, no way he would lust over a child, that's just sick. He then admit he is on the "Older woman" faction. Well, he ask the readers to lower their fist because the story will not continue if they didn't do so. Anyway, Yuu decided to leave the village. But, he is currently wondering, what to do with the little elf girl who is clinging and cover her head to his feet. In short, Lililuri wants to be with Yuu, and Sherry asked Yuu to take her with him. Sherry convinced Yuu by saying, Lililuri is still a child, and traveling along is dangerous. Yuu finally relented, partly it's because a sexy woman asked him (while cursing himself to be a fool).
Ukyuun~. a weird sound effect could be heard when Lililuri looks up to Yuu. He asked himself then, why her eyes twinkling? why her face is red? and why the hell she hugged his feet with even more strength!?
And then it's the start of an adventure between Yuu and Lililuri. First Yuu decided to return to the guild. And remember about Carroto Village being near the city? it actually takes 2 days just by walking but Yuu shorten the time to 1 hour just by running, by the way he said he didn't run with full speed yet. He shuddered a bit to Lililuri who is sitting on his shoulder. Normally people would puke with that kind of speed, but she just pleasantly enjoyed the ride.
"Lililuri...what a frightening girl!"
Yuu then informed Lililuri in Ishrel that they are going to arrive at the destination. Lililuri ask why speaking in Ishrel, and Yuu replied Alexeria language is rare around this place, he doesn't want to attrack attention. Upon arriving at the Guild, and talking to receptionist (which is not the usual big-breasted girl). He is informed that he can take quest of C rank. The reason is because he had single-handedly destroy a village of orc. His promotion is recognized by the entire guild. His current rank now is Rank D and he is ordered to accept C rank quest.
Yuu conclusion: The guild want to drag him into war. Yuu asked if there is a D Rank quest that he can take right now. The receptionist tells him that he is ordered to take quest to subjugate Basilisk, a dragon species monster which possess [Evil Eye of Petrification].

Lililuri status as little loli is the main attention of this title lol, The author jokingly reported that when the word little girl appeared, the page view raised drastically and he commented: "Lililuri...... what a frightening girl!"
By the way, I add more detail than it should be to chapter 7, partly because Lililuri is just too cute! I have no regret.

Yuu then explained a bit that Basilisk is not a monster that could be compared to orc or goblin. He then ask the receptionist girl, if Basilisk really is C rank monster? She started to lose her composure. A voice then called to Yuu from behind and it was Tre. Yuu is then looking intently at Tre rocket mountains which rocking amazingly. In the middle of that, Yuu felt something tugging at his hem of his shirt, looking to the tugger way, is Lililuri who pouts and glare at him with swelling cheek and raised eyes. Yuu asked what's wrong, and Lililuri displeasingly face away. Tre asked about Lililuri, and before Yuu can introduce him, Lililuri introduce herself as Yuu "Partner". Tre introduce herself as Tre Valencia, AA rank mercenary. Yuu remember that the rank of Guild in letter are: E, D, C, B, A, AA, S, SS. Yuu then ask Tre the rank of Basilisk. Tre answered that Basilisk is at least rank A, and at most AA rank. Yuu tell Tre that it seemed he is tasked with subjugating Basilisk, and Tre is surprised to hear that. Yuu then think that he need money to buy Lililuri clothes, cute clothes is a must, and not because the author wanted to service the reader (but looking at the increased number a view, author think, if there is no service...) Tre said she can pay in advance......provided Yuu really can slay the basilisk. Yuu asked if Tre can read his mind. Lililuri answered Yuu is muttering. Apparently it's Yuu habit to mutter what he is thinking, therefore sometimes leak out any hidden thought he might have. Yuu then asked Tre to prepare him two spears for throwing and Lililuri clothes, also if possible a big sack. Tre asked if Yuu really going to accept the quest as a pair (of male and female) basilisk is ranked AA. Yuu tried to deliver a killing remark but midway his cheek is pulled by Lililuri.
"What are you doing Lililuri! Who knows I might be a riajuu right now!?"

Tre praised Elves detection ability, and tell them that this shop is also a workshop for Magical Sword. Yuu explained to the readers that Magical Sword (japanese word is Maken, literally translated to Cursed Sword) is not equal to Evil Sword, but rather, a sword that has magical or special properties. Yuu commented that the owner must be skillful, and Tre praised that assessment, saying that she can't see Yuu as an amateur anymore. They then enter the shop. Yuu managed to check that Tre is wearing a T-back. Lililuri pouted again and pulled Yuu's hair as punishment.

He then asked why the hell there's a nurse uniform inside a weapon shop. Tre called the second time with louder voice, and a dwarf appeared from inside a mountain of scrap iron. Gold, the dwarf asked if Tre came to wear the nurse uniform. Yuu thought this old man is not ordinary. Lililuri who knows what Yuu is thinking, pulled his eyelashes. Tre said he bring a customer. Gold mocked Yuu and Yuu is enraged when Gold claimed that Tre is his. Both of them started to dispute like a child. Skit happened between Gold, Yuu, and Lililuri ended with Gold receiving 2 critical hit mentally.
Back to the main problem, Gold asked if Tre came to wear a Sailor uniform. Yuu chided Gold, saying it should be Gym Uniform + bloomer. Both of them then recognized each other as worthy rival. Lililuri pulled Yuu ear and Gold moustache. Tre then asked Gold to prepare 2 throwing spear for Yuu. Gold told Yuu to undress his top, and comment that Yuu is not just an ordinary skilled person. Tre commented that it's hard to decide just by looking once, while comparing Gold muscular build with Yuu muscles. By the way, Lililuri cover her face but sees between her finger with red face.
Gold asked if Yuu need a magical spear. Tre is surprised to hear Gold question. Yuu however just said, a normal spear is enough, but he need a spear strong enough to pierce Basilisk cranium. Gold told Yuu to come again tomorrow, he will make short spear for him, before he went inside the workshop

It's easy to see that Yuu is just the super OP, easy going, pervert, but kind harem guy while Kaito is the earnest, good-looking harem guy. So how's being the hero working out for Kaito? This story's pretty interesting in how there are two traditional harem characters with only one being the protagonist.

Naw. Kaito's an earnest guy who wants to become a hero and do good and all that crap. I think Yuu wanted to leave anyway.

Thinking about it, this is actually a fantastic way of showing the tragic villain's backstory without a flashback arc. And since we get to see just how great he was, yes was, before he fell from grace, when Yuu kills/seals/forgives him for his "sin(s)" it'll be a horribly/beautifully tragic/heartwarming tale. Provided the writing is good. Let's hope so. I expect Kaito's life to fall to pieces soon. The dukes probably being one of the catalysts. I just hope the trap and a loyal advisor/general/lover stays by his side too.(Not that the trap can't be that, necessarily, it would be an interesting twist, I just don't expect it)
Since according to the spoiler the author doesn't hesitate to kill off characters, female characters, I imagine dead harem will be his final trigger. He'll go on to become some kind of revenge knight with broken as fuck Stu powers and go mad, (events take place here)etc etc, decide to become DK for the added stat boost to then wipe out demons etc or just give in to his inner darkness etc. This could suck but as I said before, if the writing is strong it could be epic.
Course..this could not be the case.
Outlandish speculation: Yuu and Kai are 2 parts of a monstrous whole and the DK is an old hero who fused, went mad and is now sealed.(Yuu was lucky the last time they fought)then they fuse and become hero X and finish off the old DK. That or the DK is a different guy altogether that is just so ridiculously OP it takes 2 heros to beat him(separately). Last theory: 2 heroes = 2 DKS to kill. DK is my abbreviation for demon king.

I then ask Sherry, is she the one who saved me? but she said no, the one who saved me are a man called Yuuya Shirou.

In front of me, is a man, sleeping slovenly while muttering perverted words. I'm speechless. And then, I started to observe him.
- Yuuya Shirou who is helping villagers working in the farm. He doing it while humming, it must be fun for him, but when Sherry come to him, he frankly oggled his eyes at her. As I thought, he is pervert
- Yuuya Shirou who is helping whit lumberjack works. He simply cut the thick log with just one stroke of movement, it was finely chopped. Doing it with an axe which stressed over it's sturdyness rather than it's sharpness, just show how amazing he is. But when SHerry comes and praised him, his gallant figure from before just went somewhere and his face started to sloven while laughing in a weird way. As I thought, he is pervert.
- Past afternoon, Yuuya Shirou who is playing with childrens. Seems like he had make a promise with the childrens before and now he is playing with them. It's a game called [Game-of-tag]. Looking at him trying to hide in the corner of a wall, I ended laughing myself. But when he sees Sherry, he started to move inhumanly and caught the other kids, and run quickly. THe kids who sees him are delighted, is he wants to impressi Sherry? As I though, he really is just a pervert.
- Yuuya Shirou who is swinging wooden sword. After done playing with the kids, he asked Sherry's grandfather to lend him a wooden sword and started swinging it in the garden back of the house. He raised it, and then swing it down, raised it and swing it down. He repeated that movement many times. At first I thought his movement was boring, but while looking at him repeating that move, I started to think it was beautiful. That refinement of movement, even I understand that something as savage as a fencing, he turned it into a supreme art. After repeating it several times, he suddenly thrust the wooden sword to the ground and started to take off his clothes. Undressing outside like this! He really is a pervert! is what I thought while being panicked. When he throw his shirt to the ground, I heard a weird sound not unlike a clothes falling down. I then understand that he perspirate more than usual and the sweats are collected in the shirt.
Underneath the shirt, the body that appeared from it, how do I say it, this is also very amazing.
I guess "it doesn't have useless fat" would be the best words to describe it. It's as if that body is perfected to move as fast as wind, endowed with a muscle that's similar to monster. It's not too muscular but somehow, I just can't get my stare off from it. While topless, this time he did not just practice swinging, but swinging it as if there is an enemy in front of him. Everytime he swing, the wooden sword produces the sound of cutting air.
He glare at the empty space and the sharpness of his gaze, makes me shudder with fear.
It was like saying, I won't let you escape. I thought, the enemy who fights against him, if there is, must have lost his will, eaten by fright and awe. And against that enemy, who is slowing down, he will bring it down, just like a cunning snake. There's no enemy who would not be scared, but my expectation was betrayed...in a good way.
He smiled.
It was not an arrogant smile, it was just a pure smile of enjoying battle, a smile like that of a child. *throb* I can feel my heart is throbbing.
......What stupid thing I was thinking. nay, I was wrong. That smile, that gaze is sent toward "someone" who he approved of, as a worthy opponent capable of giving an enjoyable fight. If "that person" is here right now, this fight might have been a duel of the century. Somehow, the fact that I can't see that person, makes feels dejected.
After swinging a few more slash, while moving in a beautiful way..I already forget how much time has passed. And when he stand in stillness, I know that the fight had ended. Who can blame me for thinking that wooden sword as an excellent sword. And before I know it, I clapped my hands in applause.
He looked at me. *throb*, again my heart throb. That eyes of him is filled with surprised, did he think there are no other here. Did I just destroy the mood? I became filled with anxiety, but he...with an embarassed smile fitting his age.
I'm completely captivated.
*throb*, *throb* *throb*. It didn't stop.
My heartbeat didn't stop. Why is it? My chest, it's violent pace is almost close to a pain. My face became hot, even breathing became hard. This......, ......what is this?
In my panic of sudden emotion that I never felt before, Sherry appeared and called him, informing that it's time for dinner. Blasting away the valiant figure he had from before, he throw the wooden sword and with sloven expression run of to Sherry.
Looking at him like that, why I feel sad instead of disgust?
It was different from before, pain assail my chest, as if its about to burst open.
In my anguish that I almost cried, when I pick up his clothes that's on the ground, it's strange, a little bit, I can feel that the pain calmed down a bit.
He is......a pervert......maybe.
After finishing dinner, I returned to my room. A knock then could be heard and I tell the visitor to come in. It's Sherry. She asked my impression about "him". I answered, He is not a bad person. I think, certainly, when it is about woman, he would think about improper things, but by no means, he a bad guy. Rather, he's the type to make people think he must be popular... His diligent when helping people, his kindness when playing with the children...and the valiant figure he shown with the wooden sword in his hand.
"I see, glad isn't it. by that person, to be saved by him"
Sherry words, startled me so much I rise spontaneously. That, that's right. I haven't said thanks to him. What a foolish thing! ......I, I haven't said any thanks to him. besides, I , to the person who had saved me I ended 'probing' on him.
......what a damned thing......what, a thing to do.

I run off. I want to see him right now, I want to thank him.
I knock at the door of his room lightly. with a stretched sound, he came out from his room.
"Th, that's...thanks, want to say it"

This chapter starts with Yuu cursed this world, and asked someone to kill him. (*reason: he found out that Sherry already married). Yuu then said he had a good time 5 days after saving the little girl, Lililuri. He then asked "to all the people in front of the monitor who standing up hearing the word little girl" why so surprised? He can't understand, since He is not interested. He also said why the anger? she is a child, no way he would lust over a child, that's just sick. He then admit he is on the "Older woman" faction. Well, he ask the readers to lower their fist because the story will not continue if they didn't do so. Anyway, Yuu decided to leave the village. But, he is currently wondering, what to do with the little elf girl who is clinging and cover her head to his feet. In short, Lililuri wants to be with Yuu, and Sherry asked Yuu to take her with him. Sherry convinced Yuu by saying, Lililuri is still a child, and traveling along is dangerous. Yuu finally relented, partly it's because a sexy woman asked him (while cursing himself to be a fool).
Ukyuun~. a weird sound effect could be heard when Lililuri looks up to Yuu. He asked himself then, why her eyes twinkling? why her face is red? and why the hell she hugged his feet with even more strength!?
And then it's the start of an adventure between Yuu and Lililuri. First Yuu decided to return to the guild. And remember about Carroto Village being near the city? it actually takes 2 days just by walking but Yuu shorten the time to 1 hour just by running, by the way he said he didn't run with full speed yet. He shuddered a bit to Lililuri who is sitting on his shoulder. Normally people would puke with that kind of speed, but she just pleasantly enjoyed the ride.
"Lililuri...what a frightening girl!"
Yuu then informed Lililuri in Ishrel that they are going to arrive at the destination. Lililuri ask why speaking in Ishrel, and Yuu replied Alexeria language is rare around this place, he doesn't want to attrack attention. Upon arriving at the Guild, and talking to receptionist (which is not the usual big-breasted girl). He is informed that he can take quest of C rank. The reason is because he had single-handedly destroy a village of orc. His promotion is recognized by the entire guild. His current rank now is Rank D and he is ordered to accept C rank quest.
Yuu conclusion: The guild want to drag him into war. Yuu asked if there is a D Rank quest that he can take right now. The receptionist tells him that he is ordered to take quest to subjugate Basilisk, a dragon species monster which possess [Evil Eye of Petrification].

Lililuri status as little loli is the main attention of this title lol, The author jokingly reported that when the word little girl appeared, the page view raised drastically and he commented: "Lililuri...... what a frightening girl!"
By the way, I add more detail than it should be to chapter 7, partly because Lililuri is just too cute! I have no regret.

Yuu then explained a bit that Basilisk is not a monster that could be compared to orc or goblin. He then ask the receptionist girl, if Basilisk really is C rank monster? She started to lose her composure. A voice then called to Yuu from behind and it was Tre. Yuu is then looking intently at Tre rocket mountains which rocking amazingly. In the middle of that, Yuu felt something tugging at his hem of his shirt, looking to the tugger way, is Lililuri who pouts and glare at him with swelling cheek and raised eyes. Yuu asked what's wrong, and Lililuri displeasingly face away. Tre asked about Lililuri, and before Yuu can introduce him, Lililuri introduce herself as Yuu "Partner". Tre introduce herself as Tre Valencia, AA rank mercenary. Yuu remember that the rank of Guild in letter are: E, D, C, B, A, AA, S, SS. Yuu then ask Tre the rank of Basilisk. Tre answered that Basilisk is at least rank A, and at most AA rank. Yuu tell Tre that it seemed he is tasked with subjugating Basilisk, and Tre is surprised to hear that. Yuu then think that he need money to buy Lililuri clothes, cute clothes is a must, and not because the author wanted to service the reader (but looking at the increased number a view, author think, if there is no service...) Tre said she can pay in advance......provided Yuu really can slay the basilisk. Yuu asked if Tre can read his mind. Lililuri answered Yuu is muttering. Apparently it's Yuu habit to mutter what he is thinking, therefore sometimes leak out any hidden thought he might have. Yuu then asked Tre to prepare him two spears for throwing and Lililuri clothes, also if possible a big sack. Tre asked if Yuu really going to accept the quest as a pair (of male and female) basilisk is ranked AA. Yuu tried to deliver a killing remark but midway his cheek is pulled by Lililuri.
"What are you doing Lililuri! Who knows I might be a riajuu right now!?"
"Yuu, already have, Lililuri. so this woman, not needed! I am, Partner!"
Yuu punished Lililuri by tickling her, and apparently Lililuri is quite sensitive, she easily fainted.
Tre then guide both of them to a weapon shop owned by a dwarf with excellent skill. Upon arriving, Lililuri said she can feel Magic power leaking out from the shop. Tre praised Elves detection ability, and tell them that this shop is also a workshop for Magical Sword. Yuu explained to the readers that Magical Sword (japanese word is Maken, literally translated to Cursed Sword) is not equal to Evil Sword, but rather, a sword that has magical or special properties. Yuu commented that the owner must be skillful, and Tre praised that assessment, saying that she can't see Yuu as an amateur anymore. They then enter the shop. Yuu managed to check that Tre is wearing a T-back. Lililuri pouted again and pulled Yuu's hair as punishment.

Tre is calling for the owner of the shop whose name is Gold. While waiting, Yuu answer Lililuri questions about weapon she sees inside the shop. He then asked why the hell there's a nurse uniform inside a weapon shop. Tre called the second time with louder voice, and a dwarf appeared from inside a mountain of scrap iron. Gold, the dwarf asked if Tre came to wear the nurse uniform. Yuu thought this old man is not ordinary. Lililuri who knows what Yuu is thinking, pulled his eyelashes. Tre said he bring a customer. Gold mocked Yuu and Yuu is enraged when Gold claimed that Tre is his. Both of them started to dispute like a child. Skit happened between Gold, Yuu, and Lililuri ended with Gold receiving 2 critical hit mentally.
Back to the main problem, Gold asked if Tre came to wear a Sailor uniform. Yuu chided Gold, saying it should be Gym Uniform + bloomer. Both of them then recognized each other as worthy rival. Lililuri pulled Yuu ear and Gold moustache. Tre then asked Gold to prepare 2 throwing spear for Yuu. Gold told Yuu to undress his top, and comment that Yuu is not just an ordinary skilled person. Tre commented that it's hard to decide just by looking once, while comparing Gold muscular build with Yuu muscles. By the way, Lililuri cover her face but sees between her finger with red face.
Gold asked if Yuu need a magical spear. Tre is surprised to hear Gold question. Yuu however just said, a normal spear is enough, but he need a spear strong enough to pierce Basilisk cranium. Gold told Yuu to come again tomorrow, he will make short spear for him, before he went inside the workshop
By the way, about breaking the 4th wall, it is as what the author writes~

I thought that my taste are quite bland, but glad you're interested in this! I really love the theme about Hero goes back to the world he had saved (maybe) to finish any problem that he had not resolved yet.

It seemed like he returned suddenly, I don't know. But it's certain that he had defeated the Demon King. It's just, the truth didn't seem to be clear to the outside party and it resulted in the view that "Previous Hero only repelled the Demon King". hence Iris explanation. By the way, Rizerion deliberately conceal their summoning art out of care for Yuu.
Well just to make sure, it's not like I hate ojou-sama, it just happened to be like that. Iris should have give him a protection, not throwing him out like he some rascal, just because he had zero magic power. I guess if she know who Yuu is, she will regret her decision.

Been slowly reading through this. Some interesting bit notes from the first volume, for past the current summaries. May contain inaccuracies and won't have things I don't care enough to mention.

When going on to take out a pair of basilisks, Tore accompanies them much to their surprise, as a guild examiner. When they arrive, Lily is terrified out of her mind and tells Yuu there's so many of them. Yuu figured out what she meant and grabs her and Tore and jumps out of their coach moments before it's pulverized by basilisks.
Lily faints during the escape because why not, and Tore is freaking because 2 and 17 turn out to be pretty different numbers. Yuu takes care of the 17 basilisks with the 7 spears he got from the Dwarf smith in 30 seconds, totally not overpowered at all. He starts complimenting himself because Tore was watching him and, well, he thinks she's pretty hot.
While walking back, Tore notices an especially smart and strong basilisk sneaking up on Yuu that had hidden itself, but is too shaken to say anything. She watches it petrify and kill Yuu, where she's reminded of her little brother dying and other crap. So she closes her eyes and wets herself as it draws near, where Yuu then decapitates it with Alt Friede, now shirtless. He apologizes for not being serious and beats himself up over it. Lily wakes up, and there's a little skit about smelling pee and that happens to Lily sometimes, too.
A wagon with the big-breasted receptionist leading it shows up and it turns out the whole basilisk thing was planned by the guild master. They take them to the GM, who Yuu is more than acquainted with. She's his old teacher, Norn, who also happens to be the 'witch of time'. She's an albino elf with really long hair and speaks in an archaic manner, who he not-really-all-that-affectionately calls hag.
They explain some shit, like that the basilisk really did kill Yuu but as Alt Friede and the hero are basically the accumulated hopes of the people, he revives when he dies. The Demon Lord is also an accumulation of the peoples' hatred and jealously, which is pretty much why he couldn't kill it and it would just revive whenever he did, forcing him to seal it. She also goes over power level comparisons with the new hero Kaito, that his prided Dragon Roar magic is only at the same level of the Duke demons, and that he's as strong as Yuu when not using Alt Friede, which Yuu thinks is pretty damn strong. Norn wants Yuu to help out with the war and persuades him much to his chagrin.
To basically breeze over the war, Silvia shows up and tells Kaito and his party to not fight and they want to send them back to their world, as the Demon Lord has been dealt with, so they don't need a hero. Kaito really wants to beat the Demon Lord, though, so I'm sure that'll end well.
Anyway, Yuu shows up, saves Silvia, the second princess from the whatever country he was originally from, and fends off a Duke demon with Lily who is now studying time magic under Norn's tutelage. Turns out that basilisk sensing thing was a foundation for teaching time magic from. Also, time magic's overpowered as hell, according to Yuu. It's made Norn look young for over 1,000 years and predict/manipulate the future. There's some gags involving a character realizing it was Yuu because of Silvia's passionate gaze and whatnot, keywords 'wife' etc. You know how it is.
Agniera shows up after and picks a fight with Yuu. Yuu manages to fend her off using his new dual swords special ability that the Dwarf smith made whose names I forget. So everything's good and dandy now.
Yuu has the Dwarf repair his now pretty beaten up twin swords because it was a heavy fight, as he's preparing to go off adventuring again, partially due to a letter Norn sent him about going south to enjoy some swimsuits. Lily's now under Norn's tutelage, so she ain't coming this time. Tore shows up and sets him up with a silver chocobo thing to ride. Yuu tries to pull a 'so you really did fall for me' line, but Tore, like usual, interrupts and says it's just to see him off.
Lily unexpectedly shows up to see him off, but she's obviously sad about it. Yuu notes that despite looking as young as ever, she's now mentally matured several years thanks to time magic bullshit even though it's only been like a week since she started training to be a time mage, which by the way, it's noted she's doing entirely to be useful to the protagonist. Yuu tells her they'll meet again, as it's not like he can go back to his world, etc. She finally smiles at the end and he rides off. She then starts sobbing and Tore consoles her, and the narrative sure tries to imply Tore has feelings for Yuu despite the earlier banter, with Tore wanting to become strong and the narration stating Lily and her look almost like 'mother and child, sisters, friends, and love rivals'.
The first volume ends with Norn talking with the receptionist, basically saying the recommendation to go south was so that Yuu would do the opposite, as he mustn't go there for whatever reason. Which she's right and he heads the opposite direction. Also turns out she's the first generation/founding hero from over 1,000 years ago. Go figure.
