Norman is so dead (especially with "I want to live" page)

^Just another death flag to his enormous collection. At this rate it would be something new if he actually manage to survive but I doubt. No way he's going to leave injured Emma behind to save his own skin. A shame I liked his character a lot. :C

Ouch, no more subtle indirect methods anymore, huh? I still hope we find out what caused the situation to escalate (it probably wasn't just Don's key theft). Their escape had long odds already (with Norman and Emma planning to bring everyone) but now....

I'm starting to wonder if maybe this is all one long prologue- if maybe Emma and/or Gilda train for a mom position (while Norman and Ray escape), then time skip and they raise the next batch of kids to do better. I hope not, I like the main three already (and it would be a horrible defeat), but at the rate things are going... on the other hand there's still that thing Krone left behind, so after this they'll probably retreat to the house and try to come up with a new plan and find whatever that was.

Poor Norman doesn't want to die and neither do Emma and Ray want that. But what can he do? As he said if he escapes then security will get up and the rest can't escape anymore. So he decides to bite the bitter apple, resolve himself and die tomorrow. But then Emma and Ray try to convince him to escape on his own.
Will be interesting to see who gonna win that argument.

It was so sad watching the desperation in Emma's face when Norman sat so quietly smiling next to her bed. Damn, I really want those two to grow up and become happy together and given the enormous amount of shipping fanart those two get from japan I guess most of the audience wants it too.

We also got a hilarious photoshop picture of Krone:
Spoiler for Best Valentine ever! XD:

Just the best! XD

I can't imagine Norman escape on his own. As he thought to himself, that would be the others in more danger and reduce if not completely destroy the chance of another escape.

So its decided, Norman will pretend to escape. Keeping him hidden is not going to be easy (between his food and Mom will probably check out the obvious hiding places). Heh, Emma does come up with the crazy ideas. They can probably get away with breaking Ray's arm to delay his departure, but they can only push things so far. Nice hug between the three (hope that won't be their last hug).

Looks like flashback next chapter on how Ray knew about all this. Wonder what his trump card is.

This is a nice plan, but I'm not too excited since that means the escape could be delayed for dozens and dozens of chapters. I feel like this is getting dragged out.

At least it looks like we'll get some interesting reveals next time.

My guess is that Isabella will send Ray to the "hospital" when they try this plan so Ray ends up getting killed or taken by the demons instead of Norman.

I get the feeling Norman would still die, but he will leave behind something for Ray and Emma that would aid with their escape.

I honestly can't tell if Norman disappeared according to their plan or else something else happened (Mother whisked Norman away early, or Norman did something else after finding what Krone left behind). I'm leaning towards the latter possibility myself, but we'll see.

Huh, so that's how Ray knew- and how he knew where the tracking device was. And ouch, he experimented on himself quite a bit and he's been planning this for years. I wonder if Ray's memory is just a fluke or else a part of what makes their plant special.

Figures escaping wouldn't be that easy (even if it was something simpler like a desert outside). So Norman is going to his death, but I wonder if he'll go quietly. There's still that thing Krone left behind, and Norman might try to put up a fight.

So he might have seen an exit point, but without him there to balance between the cynical Ray and idealistic Emma, hard to tell how much further their escape plan can go. We'll get at least one more chapter of Norman, but after that, well, we'll see.

I still have a glimmer of hope for Norman since he didn't talk about the thing Krone left them. A very small glimmer, as his own narration has him determined to die for the sake of everybody else.

So...my prediction was off lol. Also, it looks like escaping wasn't all that simple to begin with. They were prepared for the chance that some of the kids may be able to get over the wall. They were right.

I'm not writing off Noman just yet. He may be determined to die, but the fact that we still don't know what Krone left behind means that there might be more in store for Norman.

And so Norman is officially gone. Though he might not be dead, based on that last panel- or at least he might not have died immediately like the other kids died. Maybe the demons have something special in mind for the perfect kids?

Guess now the remaining eldest four have to cobble some sort of plan together. Looks like Norman took that thing with him, though I'm afraid we won't find out Norman's fate for a while.

Yeah, if Norman was dead, then they probably would have shown it. Norman's face when he's taken to the gate seems to imply that he is in for another surprise.

Given Norman's surprise, there is little doubt in my mind he is going to survive after all. He expected to be handed over to the demons to be eaten, and was greeted by something else entirely. Either his potential is so great they have decided to keep alive to make him work as a scientist or whatever, or Mama cooked up something to keep him alive. I've already said I don't think Mama's as evil as she seems, and I still think that (there is the Krone incident, but it's not like she was an angel. Far from it).
