If I'm remembering correctly, this is the one with a martial arts master taking an elf student. When he got reincarnated as an elf after his death, he found that his style became famous and his student was a renowned hero who defeated a dragon (magic didn't work on it, so only his student could kill it with her physical abilities)...

He then got recognized by an old rival of his and got blackmailed into teaching the rival's granddaughter or something?

Yeah this sounds about right. He meets his former student pretty early on too.

Think of it as an "industrial revolution" period, where they are slowly "putting aside" horse power (magic) to include "steam engines" (martial arts).

I think magic had some pretty decent limitations in that world, so that's why it's losing spot light, the "goverment" is pushing the introduction of martial arts in that society for how convenient they are (kinda like how Judo displaced Aikido back in the day?).

About his disciple (Problably I'm remembering wrong half of this).

- She "did" realize that "he was him" when she first saw it, but descarded the idea as stupid (he has the same face, voice and name, I think. Pretty sublte ).
- Is a 2xx? 3xx? years virgin since her sensei was her true love (I think? or was it another series? ).
- Since she has movie star level fame, she gets bothered by suitors non stop.
- It's more worried about the future of the school tan romance.
- Her stalker side was cute. Then again, to me all stalkers are cute
- Her schemes to win Slav over made me rolf. Specially the "I wanna be an actress" Totally saw it coming, but I enjoyed it anyway.
- Kid Slav promised to explain everything to her (about his "secret") once he is done with his world trip (which isn't going to cover the world, and I think it was gonna last 10 years or something).
- Kid Slav rationalized that he probably will be able to beat her, but if he does "as a kid" in an open tournament that would be an embarrassment to her and the style, that's why he wants to wait before he is pretty strong and well seasoned before fighinting her for real.
- Slav wants to resume his master/student relationship with her after he goes in the open. I can only see that going horribly wrong

Anyways, does this turn into a polygamist harem? From true love between 2 people like that in Sayonara ryuusei to a polygamy..u know...that bitchi vampire who seduced Dran..? or do they keep the romance in check so we modern people with modern ethics can handle it without feeling guilty....like..harem yes, but no polygamy, still 2 people mutual love?
