Wait what ? The LN is in early stages, with barely any significant developments, i don't think the mangaka knows the ending.

Well the implication is there, but I don't think it is safe to pull the trigger on main LN being not Horikata end. I mean the author used 焦点を当てた which should be focus on, but the meaning is vague as ..... it could be focusing on their romance, it could even be focusing on their individual problem, it could be focusing on their interaction with friend..... I'm more interested in this supposed "happy end" which mean the true end is will have some problem.

And truth to be told, Her interactions with Sudou is more like "this person is not bad" rather than actual interest.

EDIT: managed to find the manga, the series is named ようこそ実力至上主義の教室へ √堀北 for interest. to be blunt, rather than focus, I'd say the only characters in ようこそ実力至上主義の教室へ √堀北 is Horitaka and MC. Yep, only.

I agree )), Suzune seems to have found someone with similar circumstances. For someone who used to isolate herself to jump straight to loving someone is ...

Maybe in the next volumes, we'll get to see the dark past of the mc and how it made him the way he is now. I'm sure there are problems with the mc that only Suzune can solve ))

It's true she is nowhere in the realm of loving someone, but speaking of the possible future:

The metaplot of volume 5 is how MC pushes Horikita to accept how puny and useless she is, making her finally reach her hand out to someone, to find her own accomplice like MC did in volume 4. With that she got something that neither her brother or MC could be: a companion, she says in her monologue. It's pretty clear she sees MC as an accomplice and nothing more at that stage. MC has been using her for his schemes several times already so there's that.

If there is someone we need to know more of MC, then it's Sakayanagi since she tells MC that she knows him, while he doesn't remember anything. We also know that he used the school as an escape from his father's clutches and that he was taught martial arts, cultural arts etc prior to entering the school. He also has no hesitation to blackmail people etc which probably stems from his "education".

So basically the mc was already "broken" by the time he entered the school. From what u said, i think the author really uses the mc to sort of push the developments of other characters. I'm definitely interested in his past and how the author gonna pull him to "the right path"
