Why AniDB lists it as 2010-02-11? Althought C-A is listed as 2002-11-17.

A lot of our(CA) stuff was pre-digital. i.e. Video Tape and Laser Disc. Back in the days when Dark Schneider said "See you again." - and didn't. We finally went digital in the 21st Century.

Plus in addition to being an old group, most of the shows I subtitle are also very old (1960s & 1970s).
You're one of the only people who will sub them.

Most everyone else is too busy subbing "look at me! I'm yet another 8-yr-old girl who does cute things! Ain't I adorable?" animes.

By the way, thanks for subbing Kitaro. Nezumi Otoko is such a prick.

8 years of subbing magical girl shows. Although that equals to around an episode of Ojamajo Doremi every two weeks, which isn't that bad.

If Toei keeps the Precure money train going, Doremi-fansubs isn't going anywhere.

Of course, there's still Keroro Gunsou...

So since you've done Doremi and Pretty Cure... You're like honor bound to sub the new Sailor Moon series when it come out, right ?

Gonna jump into that viper's den?

(Well, it'll be pro-subbed somewhere for sure but...)

I'm pretty sure if Toei is finally going to embrace simulcasting, the show to do it with would be Sailor Moon.

Maybe.

Which one of the Predator girls is the mahou shoujo, Reika or Erika? Actually, Shou is probably the closest in personality type...

For me, your decision to complete the subs for Hyouge Mono won you a place in my heart. Glad you could find the time to fit Sasuke in among the magical girls.

Just chiming in to correct something...

> 2. Live-Evil (24.11.2001)

Our first release was eX-Driver episode 1 on September 24th, 2001. We were founded in June of that year. Just a weird bit of trivia, it was ready for release about two weeks prior but got de-prioritized in the shuffle after 9/11. It didn't help that I was living in NYC at the time.

Another bit of trivia, we were one of many groups that originated within BakaMX (Soldats being the other major notable one). If you trace the history of digisubbing backwards it reads like Greek mythology.

Sorry for any possible necroposting, but I'd probably mention Ryuu-Rogue for consideration on that list, since they started somewhere around 2004 based on this post and are still very much active.

Nice, still alive and kicking. I remember watching their Damekko Doubutsu way back in 2005.

Sorry, but A-E is dead. ^^ They don't meet the "one episode per month" critera either, neither does FLF.

It's been almost a year since the last time I updated this list. TV-Nihon seems like they might have finally decided quits, but I'll let them stay in the list for now. I'm sure C-A will pick something up again soon too. ^^

And apparently we at Saizen have to figure out how to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. =)

Hmmm, you are a good guesser. Yep, once the DVD arrives I have the scripts already timed and ready to go. Just have to do some minor adjustments and, viola.
