Yeah. Hopefully Yona will give him a good reply and they'll hook up after this. Though according to a spoiler I'd read before, Yona starts blaming herself for having hurt Hak and thus doesn't come clean with her own feelings due to guilt. I read it way before, though. Not sure if it was referring to something that happens after this or what. I hope it was wrong.

Yona has to understand that Soo-Won is a good king - heck, she already does if you've noticed. And she's also shown that she can put personal grudges aside when it comes to that, which is also a sign of growth for her as a character. And I think that she'll also be given some good growth and development to make her good ruler material before she takes the thrown. Or at least I hope so.

In my eyes, if she were to be a ruler, what Yona lacks right now is her experiences at managing something. She has been shown to be both silk and steel when necessary while balancing between both, which is better than Soo Won's steel inclined mentality (condoning a massacre DOES NOT make allies, even to your own country).

Chapter 153 wasn't out, so maybe it's something earlier?

In the latest chapters, Yona has found a diary belonging to Soowon's mother, Yonhi. The story is now doing a flashback to the past, which'll likely lay out the yet-unexplained mysteries of the past and how they affect the present time.

The past so far has revealed Soowon's dad was a tender, free-spirited yet fierce man, who deeply resented the royal family's blind faith in the temple priests and the priests' arrogant control over them. Despite his pledge to protect Yonhi, an accidental encounter with the head priest enabled him to sense Yonhi's bloodline connection to the Crimson Dragon King, thus drawing her into the religious power play.

It's also confirmed Soowon is dying of Crimson Illness, a (genetic?) disease that has been passed down his maternal family's bloodline for generations; the blood descendants of the Crimson Dragon King. His mother was a carrier of the illness.
