As Akiko and her female fellows go to the shopping to prepare for summer holidays' material, they choose which swimsuits would please to both Akito and themselves. Unfortunately, many weird antics were caused and Akito gives his opinions that ended up looking so unfortunate for most harem members. This turn out to be the weirdest swimsuit episode I've seen, and the way they never end up going to be the beach despite the specific conversation they get feel unexpected to me. My favorite swimsuits' pick in this episode were Akiko's and Ginbei's, but I like the former more because of how cute her pink two-piece swimsuit look. I can also notice the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure reference (dem crazy poses) and the Arashi's censorship was shown, and I never expected her breasts to be censored by her cute small-sized avatars covering her nipples as well. I can't wait to see more crazy antics in the next episode !

Spoiler for OniAi 08 - The 12th Annual OniAi Bikini Fashion Show and Lovemaking Session:

If there's any beach episode this reminds me of, it's Kanamemo's. There are swimsuits purchased, talks of going to the beach, but the beach is never actually gone to. So much time is dedicated to swimsuit shopping, but it's still entertaining. Arisa is blending right in with the other four - and Arashi's taste in swimsuits is very Kuroko-esque. That's not the only thing Kuroko-esque about her, but she by far shows the most skin this week.

The second half with the swimsuit fashion show had some nice gags playing off the characters. Gin using one of her pads as a "tea coaster" and Arisa's rather elaborate school swimsuit angel stand out. Oh, and Kaoruko getting in on it too was unexpected. That sequence at the end with everyone running was clearly where a lot of the budget went to this week.

And the idea of Akito writing a robot novel next is intriguing. Sounds like Godannar, but a little more immoral. Kawaguchi's delivering a show here that, in terms of execution, stands out, even if the content is all familiar. The pacing is a little slower due to the conversation-heavy nature of the material, but he's adjusting well enough, eight episodes in.
