Heh, I managed to get my ps3 controllers to work with the game and tried it out with my roommate. He ragequit on the third level, not being much of a gamer
I kinda understand though. It'd be annoying to play Magicka as a total newbie when your teammate knows how to pull crazy spells off the top of his head. Anyway, I really like the spellcasting in this game, I hope Arrowhead Studios make it big and put out more cool stuff like this.

Best part of that line was that I though it was an enemy wizard as well until Lewis said something. The low light in that room made his purple (and hatless) robes match the enemies robes perfectly...much more so than Simon's yellow robes looking like a goblin early on (TB's excuse for burning Smon down once or twice in the early chapters).

My household bought the Steam 4-pack of this just last week... and yeah, it crashes quite a bit in co-op play. I suspect some nasty memory management issues and a glitchy graphics module for certain spells.
I'm kind of surprised Steam bought into this with its severe instabilities. Steam asserts our game is "up to date". As for the game itself... its quite fun with the friendly fire and combined spellcasting. Terrible puns and jokes We had to make one of our group change colors though - some colors look too much like the monster robes during the chaos of battle.
