So this set ups for the first .hack//GU game then? I read in a magazine that Haseo was very high leveled until his character data was reset back to Level 1. I know Pai would join him if he wanted to enter the guild Raven. So who're the other two along with TE. The one glowing green looks just like Haseo in his demonic armor. The one glowing red looks kind of like Bear from SIGN.

Since this is an AI (Artificial Intelligence), I think they only said "AI", and not "Let's call it AIDA my friends !"

Um... presumably because a high level multi-weapon can have more than three forms? I think it's safe to assume that while Harald bumped up Haseo's levels considerably he didn't max them out, since sufficiently skilled PCs can still beat Haseo.

I think in 25, it stated it was his "element" that probably saved him from going into a coma.

And who the heck was Touta talking to a Phyllo-look-alike in the Cathedral? The scene was in black & white. It couldn't float and talked funny, like an AI.

Touta seemed pretty shocked when first meeting him/it.

It seemed something happened to Phyllo in the real world. There was a hint something was wrong with Phyllo when Tabby asked him whether his cat or dog pulled his internet cord again, but Phyllo replied they weren't there anymore. Usually when the scene goes black and white only when taking place in the real world, so something big must have happened.

The person who was controlling Phyllo during the Cathedral was probaly the nurse or caretaker come to inform Touta of the news, though the person who plays Phyllo is probaly dead or something.

Also about the revelation of 25, that it was Ovan who Pked Shino is correct, but saying that Ovan is Tri-Edge is confusing right now. From the trailers I saw from vol 1 and vol 2 the theory is this:

Tri-Edge is the name given to Kite because of the ability to send people into comas, and has been labelled this ever since his appearance. However, in truth Ovan is actually the "true" Tri-Edge, responsible for sending Shino into a coma. Although there is some details that mislead the viewers into thinking Ovan is Kite, especially when Haseo's finds Shino moments after she was Pked, as there were no clear suspect at the time.

Apparently from the videos on youtube Ovan was infected by an AIDA, and he was forced to seal his own arm to slow the corruption of his character. However when Ovan was captured by Yata and Pai which lead to the forceful removed his arm seal, and his subsequent escape to the cathedral, he uncontrollably pked Shino as a consequence.

We also see some video's where we see Ovan fighting against the 3 Knight of Azure - Kite, Balmung, and Orca. However, there are some video's that suggest the AIDA created clones of evil Balmung and evil Orca, and later were killed by the original evil Balmung and evil Orca.

It's been mentioned a couple times already, but the Trio are actually preserving the balance of the world and clearing any data anomolies. When Tri-Edge attacked Ovan, it was because of his AIDA infested arm. Haseo because of his armor given by Walt, Phyllo to some degree, probaly because of his relationship with Ovan. Despite his wild and crazy look it doesn't seem to actually be truly evil. In the youtube movies, Balmung and Orca help Haseo kill some of the data anomoly bosses in the game. Even in the anime, we see Kite in a grid like zone, repairing some corrupted grids hinting his true nature.

The AIDA that is infecting Ovan's arm is destroying his character data. In the same way the cancer that Phyllo has is destorying his real life body

Just watching a few of the vids on youtube from Vol 2 involving Ovan clears a few things up about the anime. But to see the rest I guess I need to borrow/buy a ps2 to play the game /sigh

For some reason I personally liked .Hack//roots better than SIGN.
