Although I am a KanamexYuuki fan (yeeep we will disagree on that) I think that on BGI we will have the happy ending. Considering the fact that all of the previous works of Yuuki Obata were happy endings despite some difficulties that stand in the main couple's way (Yuuki Obata likes the difficulties, we got THAT) I think thta BGI too will end up well. I HOPE!!!!

okay can anyone tell me what has happened after ep 26 of the anime in the manga
ive read all the stuff up to date (jshojo ftw) but all the psychological stuff is makign me forget -_-

there are 84 pages in this forum, and i tried using the search bar, but does anyone know of any place that hosts chapter 49-51? i've seen the raw of 52, but not any after volume twelve except for ch 52... and to my understanding 52 shuld be the last chapter of volume 13 right?

btw what happened to the ch 52 page on manga-helpers.. idk if it's my connection, but i can't open it anymore... but i managed to save the raws before so it's no big deal really.. just that i wanna see what happened from 49-51...

Spoiler for Stuff after episode 26 anime:

Masafumi Takeuchi - Motoharu's best friend, Nanami's boyfriend after Motoharu, was going to propose to Nanami on her birthday.

Yuri Yamamoto - Younger sister of Nana Yamamoto, and clingy and obsessed over Motoharu to the point of following him to Tokyo and dropping out of college, and waiting at the train station in hopes of seeing him by chance. She now lives at Motoharu's apartment, but there is no sign of anything more between them aside from her being a voluntary maid/ housekeeper.

basic summary:

after yano leaves for tokyo with his mother. nana grows up and says how she has not seen yano since that day. it has been four years and nana barely finishes college and through an embarassing job interview makes it into a magazine company, where a girl named aki befriends her.

aki tuns out to be one of yano's friends in high school when he transfered over from hokkaido. just like the old school, almost all the girls wanted him. aki, is one of the only girls to actually befriend him, but it doesnt go beyond that because yano is loyal to nana. he shows her a picture of nana and she is probably the only girl that says she's cute. everyone else says she's plain.

aki is actually "pretty", smart, and wealthy. she nonchalantly said that she is both smart and beautiful to yano and he never stopped reffering to her as such to the point she got annoyed. but they eventually became friends despite the earlier annoyances. she loves yano, but she gave up on him and settled with being friends instead, seeing as yano loves takahashi.

meanwhile, yano's mother's condition deteriorates to the point that she had to take a leave of absence from work and undergo therapy. however, she breaks down mentaly and neglects her condition. because she isnt well enough to work, yano decides to work while in school. his grades drop and hisneighbors is thretening to report them to the landlord for harboring a dog. he doesnt tell nanami about his problems, because he think nanami will only worry and wouldnt be able to focus on her entrance exams for college. at the same time, yano's biological father's wife, visits and offeres to take yano in since yano's mother is ill and that her husband has no other heirs. yano's mother refuses to give yano up saying that he is all she has. yano's mother tells yano that even when his father was on his deathbed, she never acknowledged her. he accecepted motoharu, but he denied that she even existed. like the affair never happened.

yano still talks to nanami on the cell, but their conversations are cut short to to finances, so he can only make five minute calls. on his birthday, he calls nanami and nanami tells him to open the present she sent him. inside is a handmande bracelet from nanami, and yano says he wants a kiss. he tells nanami how he has a dream that he gets on a train, then a bus, then goes to his old house and gets on his bike and goes to nanami where she is welcoming him with open arms. she tells him to close his eyes and imagine her giving him kiss and hold that image. he then decides to go to nanami that very evening and tells his mother that he is going to hokkaido. he buys a ticket and everything. his mother, being shaken up from the visit his from father's wife and and mentally unstable due to her sickness, asks that he not leave her. but yano says i'm going! and that morning when yano was about to leave, he finds his mother dead. she commited suicide.

aki worries about yano and she offers to help yano with his studies by giving him notes and take cares of lalami. but aki admits to nanami tha yano was never the same again and she felt so helpless that she couldnt bring him back to normal.

nanami still has dreams about yano, and even got to the point where she broke down. takeuchi tries to console her and says that she has to forget about yano and move on. they eventually date and end up living together, but they're such workaholics that they never see each other or only meet up once every two weeks.

aki, is the in charge of the food critiquing column of the magazine and offered to help get reservations for takeuchi's proposal to nanami. while trying to look for reservations, she by chance came a cross a business card of a graphic designer that had the name motoharu, she went with her instict and tried to meet up with this motoharu and it is indeed yano, but now using his biological father's last name. she tells nanami that she saw yano and nanami breaks down, and admits she cant face yano. at the same time yano said that he is aware that nana is in tokyo, but has decided to let things be. apperantly he decided to forget everything about his past, even those that are important to him. he told this to takeuchi when his mother died, but take only told nanami recently that he did meet up with yano three years ago.

the lastest chapters show a backstory to why yuri is the way she is as well as when yano was working in a bar.

yuri hides from her mother that she dropped out to pursue yano. her mother find out because she sent a pacakage to yuri's dorm but the package was returned. when she phoned in that her daughter is in student council they said that yuri didnt even enroll that semester. so her mother goes to tokyo and storms in the cafe yuri works in. yuri tells her mother that there is something important to her in tokyo and she wants it more than anything in the world. her mother calls her stupid and that if only nana was alive that they wouldnt have any problems. yuri tells her mother that nana was a slut that brought boys home and that the whole school knew about her reputation of being a stupid whore. her mother got mad and said i wish i never gave birth to you. and yuri thinks back to how only yano was the only person to ever really see her for who she is and acknowledge her existence.

maika, a fellow waitress who is "pretty" befriends yamamoto, and is probably the only friend yamamoto has ever had, tecahes her about make up and gradually builds yamamoto's self-esteem and confidence. with a new look and new found confidence, yamamoto pursues yano by frequenting the bar he works at and such. but he totaly ignores her. she asks maika to get yano's number since yano wont turn down a pretty girl. but yano being smart, doesnt fall for it. surprised, maika tells yuri she can see why she ike yano, but that yano is cold now and she should probably forget him tat he cannot be reached. yuri says i know he's out of my league but some one who's been doted on all her life will never understand how i feel.

at the same time yano confides in his boss that he is losing chunks of his memories and that he i having a hard time sleeping. like when he is awake he doesnt remember anything from his junior year untill after the death of his mother. but when he sleeps, everything comes back haunting him. and he tries to hold on to what he remebers when he barely wakes up, but it goes away.

because i dont know what happens from 49-51
i can't really say what happens. according to the pictures, take goes to moto's place and finds yuri there. yuri says something, and take get pissed and kicks the table. nana see's yano at the airport anc chases after him. but like the festival back in highschool, he speaks with her a bit, then vanishes again. she then sees him sitting at the terminal and sits next to him. they talk and then nana reminices about high school and begins to cry. yano looks at her and wipes her tears, then says "jya" or bye. the it jumps to take looks at some kids playing while walking from moto's place. probably wondering what happened to the yano he used to know as a kid. then next is nana walking in the streets crying and thinking about yano..

dont know what the chapter says.. i dont understand japanese.. i can only read some of the hiragana and make out parts where they say names. other than that generalization i have no idea what happens after volume 12
