I find Frenda annoying, but it may just be due to her squeaky voice.
Mikoto is one of the most badass characters ever. Period. Even when emotional she's kind enough to let her opponent go, knowing it may cost her later.

I wonder if Frenda will be taking part in this next stage of the fight. 3v1 would be pretty harsh, and Mikoto might have to let go of the "don't risk foe's lives" nonsense to get by.

If you call not descending to the level of a murderer none-sense, then maybe you should become a "killer for hire" too.

Ever heard of reasonable force in self defense?

If it's necessary to stay alive, then it's reasonable.

Of course, in a case like this, the claim kinda loses strenght if it's made by the invader.

It is easy to say. I guarantee you you won't be able to kill another person. Life isn't CoD.

Just saying: when Mikoto had used her Railgun on Accelerator, I'm pretty sure she was trying to kill him (that would kill most people and she didn't know he was #1 until he told her later on in episode 6). It depends on how angry Mikoto is. Here she wasn't that angry and she believed that Frenda had some idealism, something that calmed her down greatly. Mikoto, however, is acting very mentally unstable right now (that's the point of this arc actually). This is certainly not the normal her. If I were in her situation, I would be feeling similarly or even worse than she is feeling. I wouldn't be able to imagine the pain she is feeling right now.

This is why I understand what she's doing whether or not it's "wrong." She's not only protecting her friends by doing this alone, she's also trying to stop the scientists who did her wrong. Blowing up laboratories isn't exactly just, but in this special scenario it isn't exactly evil either. However, the evil smile in the end of episode 7 didn't exactly help her case. Furthermore, she actually shocked Frenda very hard this episode, which is very uncharacteristic of her.

Mikoto is a 14 year old girl going through puberty. Mess with her emotions in a bad way and she might not be able to handle it. That's pretty normal. The amount that the scientists are messing with her emotions is ridiculous, so I can buy her actions. Yep...

Man that was a awesome episode. It was better in the anime than it was in the manga. Plus, I realized I like Frenda now a lot more than I did before.

Also reminded me of why Misaka is one of my favorite females in anime/manga.

Lol, good point. Woah, this makes me actually slightly want to watch a dubbed version

What is this world coming to? I hope that if they do dub the second season, it will have much better voice-acting than the first season. The first season was ok, but nowhere near as good as it should be, especially since this season so far has had lots of crazy good/weird voicing.

Frenda's "basically" is けっきょく (結局) (kekkyoku) - she said it many times (every other sentence at a minimum). Right before shocking Frenda Mikoto had also said it, then followed it up with "I seem to have picked up your habit".

Edit: it's surprisingly hard to find examples of this in the manga. I think for space's sake they dropped it from most of her sentences. Fortunately anime doesn't have that problem .

Isn't けっきょく used in Go as "end of round", or game over? Frenda(Doraemon?)'s case, she says 結局、日頃の行いな訳よ(In the end, it's my day job). "Chou" doesn't seem like her signature phrase, since so many JPN(and other country's) high school girls used it frequently.

Saiai takes chou into the super next level.

Though like I've said, its not super obvious here because she's in super serious mode.
