The Nymph-Yuuki-Aislinn match was the one with the most votes. Since Nymph didn't get much support during prelims, I think this means a significant number of Saki antivotes. So Saki won't have it that easy but without the vote split, Tacos would have won so don't count Saki out just yet.
Rena wins again after 5 years. That was nice. She had to face tough opponents in recent years (Ako in 2012, Mugi in 2010). She finally had some luck in the draw. That's too bad about Honoka, she had a difficult opponent. I still hope some of the other LL! girls will do well though. Today my support is for Nattsun and Alice. Alice seems to be doing well, Natsumi is losing to Mirai but this can change I hope. |

Sigh...AhoMaho...sigh...
Starts off really great with me getting only 1 out of 4 predictions correctly. I wouldn't put that much into Nymph win as anything other than anti-Saki voting (I mean, that 10x Saki girls qualifying did ticked quite a few people off) and somewhat of a split. Yuigahama did good, which is good news for one of my favorite in Yukinon. For next round... Spoiler for Picks & Prediction:

Kana manages to win as expected. Nymph finished 29th place in first preliminaries but somehow manages to take down Kataoka Yuuki. She was helped out by the Saki split vote but I never even expected her to be strong enough to take advantage of it. Rena takes people home for the first time since 2009. Love Live has a bad start with Honoka losing to Yui. This is the first of many tough matches Love Live has in round 1.

Early hours: Alice and Kazumi have the lead, other matches are closer between the 3 opponents, Natsumi having a bit of a lead with Mirai following behind, while Shizuno and Origami are extremely close. This won't be easy for Shizuno.

Rena is taking new girls home to add to her collection. That's something I haven't seen for a long time.
The only girls I know in today's match are Komurasaki and Kazumi. And they're both in the same match. I guess I'll be going with Kazumi this time. I liked her a lot better in the manga though...

On the other hand, consider that Yuigahama is the 11th place girl in that madness 10x Saki girls prelim group, people are underestimating how strong she is.

Matches: A1-3 B1-3 C1-3 D1-3
Misaki vs Haqua might be kinda close but I expect the Railgun fanbase to come through here. Shinka shouldn't have problems in the second match. Teru looked really good in preliminaries. I still think Toki will be the strongest Saki character so I have her winning. Suzu looks good for the fourth match and the all Saki third match should help her as well. In her prime, Maria might have been able to do something but those days are long gone. Votes: Haqua du Lot Herminium Nibutani Shinka Onjouji Toki Maria Predictions: Shokuhou Misaki Nibutani Shinka Onjouji Toki Ueshige Suzu

Current totals (not final)
- Unless there's a final rush, 3 of the 4 matches appear to have winners by now (including Shizuno from Saki - Team Achiga) - Mirai and Natsumi have a close enough VD where either one can pass the other and advance. *Although Natsumi now appeares to have pulled away at the end of the match* *Advance picks for next group of matches: (A1-3) Pick preference: Haqua (Kaminomi) > Izuna (No Game no Life) * Haqua, Misaki, and Izuna in the same group..... all look strong enough to win or reach repchange, but one will end up missing out. (B1-3) Pick Preference: Kanon Nakagawa (Kaminomi) > Nibutani (chuu2) > Noumi (Little Busters) * Honestly, I don't want any of the challengers to end up in 3rd (C1-3) No real pick preference (D1-3) No real preference but leaning toward Nanami Tokou just to see if Bryndilhr series can be a wildcard contender in this year's tournament and because I'm showing some interest in the series as well. Got 2 out of 4 correct today (Total 3/8...I'm getting really horrible at prediction). Natssun, being the weakest NNB girl by a margin, won her match. D1-2 I'm not too familiar with any of them, so...
For today... Spoiler for Pick & Prediction:
