There's a high chance that HxH will resume soon as well! Considering it had enough stocks from the beginning but coming out now means something (v33 came out soon as a HxH resumed last time by having enough chapters of new ones).

Hmm?
That was a fan's reaction to the news of volume 34 coming out and a fan's assumption (or hope) of the possibility of it resuming from it by comparing it with the time when volume 33 was released in 2016 (and when it resumed back in 2016). So no source and only my assumption.

It should be around ten chapters like the last few times. Enough for Shueisha to release a new volume and make some money. Now that I'm talking about money, I wonder if there is a significant increase in sales for Jump during Hunter x Hunter's returns?

that said, im still hating togashi for how he acts, if he is backpain he could just hire assistants who will do the storyboard exactly like he wants it and than also do the art, it would take maybe even twice as long for a chapter but he could still bring out 20+ chapters in a year @Kanon it should be, i doubt WSJ is letting togashi stay with his kind of release schedule out of good will, probably every time he releases a chapter it sells as much as 5 or so XD (and with 10 chapters per year he would still bring as much money in as someone else creating 50 chapters ) |

Huh, this hiatus was shorter than I thought. I assume the sole reason is because DQXI's release is right around the corner, so Togashi went to pump out as many chapters as he can before returning to his "hibernation", lol.
Kidding aside, I'm glad to hear it's coming back! Like Kanon said, we'll probably get enough chapters to fill a volume before the next break starts (so around the neighborhood of 10 chapters). Also, while I know many hope for the series to continue under a different artist, I still stand by what I said earlier about the power of having a distinctive art style. Fans may be glad to finally see the series continue on a consistent schedule, but they may eventually become alienated by the unfamiliar art style. I mean, wouldn't it feel weird if One Piece were suddenly drawn by someone other than Oda? That's basically how I'd feel about HxH being drawn by a different artist, no matter how closely they mimic Togashi's style. It would feel like the manga equivalent of a cheap knock-off brand or something, I guess. That's why I'd rather stick with the original artist, scribbles and breaks be damned (and even then, I find the scribbles to have a certain charm to them, y'know? ). |

Personally I wouldn't really mind if he keeps going the way he's going. I mean if he never ends up finishing, I'd be sad, but so be it.
At the very least I have faith that he's striving to keep doing it for as long as he can. I wouldn't particularly mind if he found a new artist, though. |

kurapika goes STRONG!! he revealed his index finger power, and ITS THE POWER TO STEAL OTHER ABILITYS!! obviously with quite the strong drawbacks, he needs to be close to the person and the theft takes time, once he stole the power of the user he can store it in a flying spaceship like talking nen object, than he can only use it ONCE before it goes back to the original user, and most interestingly: the one who got his power stolen cant use zetsu at all during that time, all in all, i would say quite in line with kurapikas normal powerlvl |
