I'm usually happy with most filler arcs in One Piece. Maybe when the go to the world, they can go to a crazy environment island that changes all the time. From there, maybe they can meet a new evil pirate crew that came during the last 2 years who wants to challenge to be an emperor. Or maybe even a rogue marine crew. Or some of the remnants of the old Fishman Sun Pirates.
But then again, I'm not sure where this arc is heading to next. Are they really done with Fishman Island, or will something else pop up? Where will they go next? What did Robin uncover in the polygraph? Also, she was with the Revolutionaries for 2 years, so she might have already been to the New World. What other secrets does she have that can help the crew?

The good thing about Animesuki is that for the most part discussions are more qualitative than quantitative. Other forums I've visited are filled with tons of nonsensical, silly, and stupid posts. The users like to spam posts just for the sake of keeping the thread/forum active. Here, I've had plenty of intellectual and stimulating discussions with respectful members. Sure, we may not have as many posts per discussion, but you'll notice the difference in quality right away.

Jimbei didn't say no! So in the future i want to see him with the crew regardless of how many years it will take! Interesting that Shirahoshi's power has made her become the ancient weapon. Wonder if there is anymore info on the poneglyph.

That was a great all around episode. It was fun as well as informative. I love these types of episodes.
Well, Poseidon is only one of the ancient weapons, right? Aren't there supposed to be more? However, I've always thought that the ancient weapons were technology based. Does that mean that Poseidon will need to use Noah in a way as a weapon as well? So what does Jimbei need to do still? What is his duty? The only one I can think of is that he has to clean up after himself; i.e. his former crewmates that have caused harm to the world. Maybe he has to capture them all? I still think a female, attractive looking character should join the crew next. Shirahoshi would be awesome if they can shrink her somehow with some device, or maybe if she can learn a shrinking technique. This way, she will also be always protected by Luffy as well, considering her potential weapon status.

Well didn't think they'd die the ancient weapons into this. I guess 'weapon' is a more general term than I thought. When first mentioned I thought it'd be some crazy....well weapon. Though I suppose Shirahoshi's ability to control/communicate with Sea Kings is legendary weapon status. Could do an insane amount of damage if she had all of them attack someone/something at the same time.
And come on Jimbei just join up already. When Luffy invites you, you join that's just how it is . Plus really how much does he really have left to do? Playing a role in saving the island and bringing down Hody's gang should be enough. Though at least even if he doesn't come along right now he should join up eventually long as he keeps to his word.

Straw Hats making a run for it.
Interesting how Luffy was avoiding being proclaimed a hero. Banquet was the only thing that made Luffy turn back. Guess he's just a glutton ^^ LOL In the end her couldn't avoid being called a hero. At least they really enjoyed themselves.

I don't know, if that's Jimbei's reason for not joining now it seems weak. It would mean them going in the same direction anyways so why not just join them and deal with that person when they meet up?

Jimbei is a man of unyielding pride, discipline, and integrity. Once he decides on something, he's fully adamant and resolute about it. That being said, it's useless for Luffy to try to persuade him any further (not that he doesn't appreciate the offer).

People said the same thing when it happened in the manga...
I wonder why some have such a big problem with the "Monster Trio" becoming a "Beast Quartet". Oh no...Jinbe joins thus Zoro and Sanji aren't the strongest bellow Luffy...what a tragedy...>_> |

Wow, what an informative episode. So much happened this episode that I thought they were back to their old day format, or even went ultra speed. What usually (recently usual) would have taken 3 episodes, they did it in one.
Anyway, I'm a little (scratched that, extremely) upset that Akainu is now the fleet admiral. Now it sets up the Marines as the ultimate bad guys, and nobody would longer mind if they wiped them off the face of the planet. Nami will always get her treasures, so they should have enough money for the New World. So Big Mam's crew is here and causing trouble. I'm sure Luffy is not going to sit idly by and let things happen to his candy... err... the island.
