TPCC is amazing! I knew it was gonna be great when Ashirogi-sensei was talking about it in the previous chapter, but I didn't think it could be this good. And the best part is that it can still go into new directions and into the next level! I love this! I hope Obha's next series will be like this, honestly.

Well, with the ... at the end of the chief's "No", it could continue next week with something like "No, I don't THINK they can be Eiji, I KNOW they can!" But we'll see.
Otherwise, they wouldn't ever have a chance. I mean, you can never be sure something will beat something else, no matter how good it is, so what do they want from them? The ability to see into the future? Even with the perfect manga, there's a chance they could lose, so it's basically like saying they have no chance to get in because they aren't 100% sure. Kind of a ridiculous thought-line.

"No... Nizuma should be the one to decide!"
"No... I don't just think they can, I know they can!" "No... they don't have a chance." "No... we should get an opinion from all the editors!" "No... they can't beat them now, but if they just edit this..." -> 90% chance it passes, imo |

I like the possibility of asking Eiji. In fact, after rereading the end, it's really obvious he's not even answering the question. He did the same thing earlier in the chapter. Some dude said it was end, and the next thing of his mouth was "No" to counter that. Same thing. They say his vote is the deciding one and he's saying "No" to counter that. The more I think about, the more I like the idea of asking Eiji. Though they might not just because of the conflict of interest, I'm sure they the Chief knows that Eiji would probably be the best person to ask. |

Asking Eiji just seems a bit predicable though, i mean we all know what he's going to say. But yeah even so, i agree that's going to be the most obvious course of action now. That or the Chief will just go on to say he believes they can do it.

Wouldn't it be fine it they moved to Jump SQ, considering it's also owned by Shueisha? I don't think they will anyway, it'd be weird to have a manga in WSJ about a manga in SQ...
And yes, I do think they're going to ask Eiji. Who better than him can know if Ashirogi's new manga has the potential to beat him?
