What? I mean I haven't played Sasami's route, but at least in the common route she's portrayed as the queen of the ojou-samas! I thought the voice was very impressive. Maybe that laugh was a bit overdone though :P

The other thing that's interesting to see is that the main director, Yamakawa Yoshiki, is doing two more storyboards already, so he's continuing to be very "hands-on" in terms of the show. This is what was expected given that he did the storyboards for 9/13 episodes in his last show. It's hard for me to imagine the sort of pressure on that guy right now given the huge weight of expectations of the fans, so I find myself cheering for him.
(And also encouraging, of course, that all the scripts are being written by the main story planner, but I basically expect this to be the case for the whole show. This is actually a rather expensive and time-consuming method that isn't often used for two-cour+ shows, but obviously the story presentation is very important to them. Of course, that means all the pressure is on Michiru Shimada to find that impossible right balance...)

Well shimada is apparently a huge fan of the VN and has played it with her daughter. Shes even going back and replaying it to make sure nothing is left out so i imagine its really hard for her to write for this and one piece.

I see her listed as a scriptwriter but she's not the series composer. It'd be quite something if she scripted a whole 2 cour show herself,I haven't seen that done in recent times.

Haven't seen the episode, but as long she as does the ojou-sama laugh right, I'll be happy. And for Sasamis character she does have a ojou aura about her...
