for all his flaws, he's actually quite the comedian

Back to topic; Something strikes me when I reread vol 2 epilogue. The conservation between Tabane and Chifuyu regarding VT-System. Tabane sounded haughty when she said all her creations are perfect, thus VT-system and the incident involving Laura had nothing to do with her.

In vol 7, her attitude is like someone who is disturbed, because everything didn't follow as she has planned. But somehow, she's going to be careful next time.
My (another) theory is that Tabane likes challenges, and she probably is seeking the ways to perfect her UnManned IS technology, by collecting data from Houki and the others IS users and to implement them using VT-System. I'm guessing the reason Chifuyu didn't went out to help the students during the Golem IIIs attack was because she's afraid that activating KureZakura will also send her data to Tabane. If Tabane is building an army of her own, then all the IS users around the world will have the chance to participate in the final battle. Can we call it the 'Ragnarok' ? :P
What sounds like a plothole is that why Chifuyu hasn't forbid Houki from using AkaTsubaki, knowing Chifuyu already gazed Tabane like an enemy in volume 3?

If you already read volume 4 to 7, it was mentioned Houki is happy and having good mood. I'm guessing this is a build up for her. I wonder how she'll react when it is reveal that Tabane is the one who send the Golems that almost killed the students (especially Tatenashi and Ichika). I hope she'll not be Amuro again that Rin has to Bright Slap her

P.S. IS is my first ever MF Bunko J light novel. I'm more of a reader for light to not so light novels from publishers that probably not going to involve in anime production. What keep my interests in IS are the girls, the mechs, and the mix matching of Norse and Japanese cultures. If I have the opportunity to take the discussion on my books seriously, I'll do so

My theory is that Tabane wants to have SOMETHING which can be attained by doing all she's doing. And if ever Houki finds out, it would be probably the same kind of cliché: Houki crying in Ichika's chest, Ichika comforting her, Ichika says something dumb and gets hot, Houki pumped up, an Houki discovering the truth.

Anyway, it's not much, but right now Vol 2 Chapter 3 is at 33%. Aiming for Volume 2 to be complete by 31st July. That'll mean 15kb of text per day...

I'll try to complete my chapter by next week. I think 12k per day would be enough. After all, I already did that on Wednesday, I think.
