Wasn't it stated that he was called to kill demons because they are ugly? And because he didn't match the arrogant goddess' expectations in appearance, he was deported to the edge of the world in hopes that she could get a more handsome hero.

Sounds like the Goddess needed a hero to destroy the army of uglies who had taken over some areas that she had reserved for only her pretties, but when the MC's face isn't up to her standard, she exiled him to the land of uglies so he'll just die and the problem will just go away while she summon new heroes, some actual pretties. I'm sure that won't come back to bite her in the arse. Five bucks say that one of the new heroes is a girl and MC will win her over. You know, typical harem scenerio!

By the way, is the Goddess blind? Or just how high is her standard of beauty? The girls on the cover look great, even by anime standards! And they're both suppose to be uglies? Heck, the MC don't look that bad.

In one town (still at the edge of the world ) MC himself says that everyone there(there are various races) is a bishounen or a bishoujo(while his pets say they are all ugly) and he asks himself how beatiful will people be once he gets in main land

The girls on the cover use to be a Dragon and a Spider.
They were turned into human forms, because of the contract with the MC. But the MC is average in looks (by our world's standards)

Synopsis fixed

Spoiler:

he guy's parents were actually from the fantasy world and went to earth and had kids.
The goddess wanted to bring some humans into her world to create a new legend for her world saga. But since it was against the rules to bring humans from "origin earth" to another world she decided to use the kids of one of her people that we're on "origin earth".
And the funny thing about earth is that it is apparently considered hell from the viewpoint of every other God outside that world. Origin earth is considered the most hellish place in the unverse because there's no magic or divine power. It's a miracle that anything even lives on that planet. ( unknown to the inhabitants of think everything is fine).
The thing is people for origin earth is when they go to another world they have their own innate magic power unlocked and their bodies are like that of demigods. For this reason it is against the rules to bring humans from origin earth therefore made a deal with one of the earth gods to have one of her people make kids on that planet and then pick up the kid later.
This was actually a trick by the goddess to pick up extra humans along with the summons by piggybacking them on him.
Since her goal to get humans was complete she basacally disregarded him and tossed him to the end of the world as ugly.( he only has average looks)

She dropped him from the atmosphere and he would have died if you wasn't a human from origin earth. Humans from origin earth are so broken that jumping from the atmosphere is only to the degree of jumping from a second story building.

Bro moon God was pissed at this and went over to that world and basically told the MC that he can do whatever the hell he wants and Live how he likes and use the last of his power to grant him some blessings. He also told him that the goddess summoned heroes behind their backs. both of them are female cuz the goddesses is a male hating feminist
And one of them is someone he knew back on earth.( they weren't necessarily close friends though)

The man's practically a demigod and also building his own pocket dimension world.
And in the latest raws he's been getting assistance from some of the other gods from Earth like Athena and Shiva.
I think they're secretly grooming him to become a God because he's unknowingly collecting faith energy from the people that lived in his pocket dimension
