Kyon could hear the screams of torment from down the hall. He sighed in his futility as he opened the door under the sign that read “Literature Club. His eyes immediately widened at what greeted him when he walked in.

“Kyon-kun!” Mikuru tearfully begged, “Help!”

Kyon gasped at the skin-tight, flesh-colored leotard that the cute, little time traveler was wearing. He had to take a double take because she looked naked at first glance. The girl on top of her had an outrageous outfit of blue and white robes with a very short skirt and a ridiculously long wig pulled up in a lopsided ponytail.

“What the hell is going on, Koizumi?” Kyon asked the smiling esper who looked rather butch in his outfit of black and gray with his hair dyed black.

“Suzumiya-san marathoned all three seasons of Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha over the weekend. So it seems that it is magical girl dress up week,” the esper replied.

Kyon rubbed his forehead and sighed, and then he sat across from Koizumi and made the first move of their usual game.

“Kyon! Why aren’t you in costume?” shouted the Brigade Leader.

“I don’t see Yuki dressed in an outfit!” Kyon snarled back.

“She is, dumbshit! She’s Raising Heart!”

Yuki held up a small red pendant that was tied around her neck while still reading the book in her other hand.

“Ready…Standby…Set up…” said Yuki quietly and without emotion.

Haruhi did a little twirl at the phrase.

“Itsuki is Chrono Harlaown,” continued Haruhi.

“Shouldn’t I be Chrono?” asked a perplexed Kyon.

“Why?”

Kyon shrugged. He hadn’t seen the show but somehow felt linked to Chrono.

“What the hell is Asahina then?” he asked while pointing to the weeping pile of person in the corner.

Haruhi grinned evilly, “She’s Nanoha in mid-transform sequence. Watch!”

Kyon watched at Haruhi pulled two long sticks out of a small box and handed them to Asahina.

“Are you insane?” yelled Kyon comprehending what was going on, “You can’t light sparklers inside of the school!!”

But it was too late. Asahina screamed as Haruhi forced her to hold the spouting sparklers while spinning around. Haruhi sang the transformation music, and the screams and the singing echoed across the school campus. After a minute, the flames died out, and Asahina returned to being a quivering mass of humanity in the corner of the clubroom.

“Kyon! What are you waiting for, retard? Get your costume on.”

Kyon knew better than to fight her when she was like this, but a vein popped out of his head when he looked at the costume waiting for him behind the changing screen.

“I’m not wearing this!”

“Shut up and put it on!” commanded the SOS Brigade leader.
“Shouldn’t Koizumi and I switch outfits? This is way more up his alley!” yelled Kyon.

“I wonder what he could mean by that,” smirked Itsuki while turning a page over in his GQ magazine.

“Kyon, put it on this instant or else…PUNISHMENT!”

“Gah! Fine!” Kyon said with a huff as he pulled off his uniform jacket.

A small knock at the door startled everyone.

“Come in!” yelled Haruhi.

“Just bringing a note from the student council,” said the small voice as the door opened, “Excuse the intr-OH MY GOODNESS!! NANOHA!!”

Kyon nearly dropped the wig he was putting on when he heard the sure sounds of a fangirl squeal.

“What club is this where you dress up as Nanoha?” the girl bounced happily, “Your costumes are so good! May I join? Please, may I join?”

Haruhi looked down at the girl with interest while analyzing her, “We may have a spot for you. I see a gleam of it in your eyes, but I must first test it to be sure.”

“Huh?” the small girl said with confusion on her face.

“What’s your name?”

“Wanwan.”

“Well, Wanwan-chan, what do you see?”

Haruhi picked up sniveling Asahina and held her in front of the girl. Wanwan’s eyes never made it to Asahina’s face, because they were distracted by two large-

“Tracts of land…er…BEWBS!” drooled Wanwan.

“I knew it!” chuckled Haruhi triumphantly, “You’re a pervert!”

“I’m…I’m…not a pervert,” stuttered Wanwan.

But her pleas were lost on Haruhi whose hands moved to Asahina’s breasts.

“They’re really soft and frickin’ huge!” commented Haruhi as she groped two handfuls from the screaming girl.

“Gaaaaaaaaaaa….” Wanwan tried to speak, but she could only gargle because of the vast amounts of drool.

“Go ahead! Feel them! You won’t believe how large they are!” Haruhi said while seizing Wanwan’s hand and jamming it onto Mikuru’s chest.

Wanwan’s eyes bulged as blood erupted from her nose.

“Heh heh heh,” chuckled Haruhi, “Not a pervert, huh? I’ve got a costume reserved for the pervert. Put this on.”

“Oh cool! I get to be Hayate!” yelled Wanwan in excitement.

“Are you done yet, Kyon?” yelled Haruhi, “Wanwan needs to change.”

An audible sigh came from behind changing screen as Kyon stepped from behind it. Wanwan gasped.

“Crossplay Fate?” she yelped while looking at the hairy legs descending from the short black skirt.

The long blond wig pulled up into pigtails did nothing to hide Kyon’s embarrassment as he folded his arms under the while cape.

“Heh heh,” grinned Haruhi-Nanoha as she walked toward the scowling Kyon-Fate, “Nope, Wanwan, this is not Crossplay Fate.”

“Huh?” gasped the confused Wanwan.

Haruhi quickly grabbed the short skirt before Kyon had any time to react and pulled it up to his belly button and exposing his nether-regions for all the clubroom to see.

“It’s Futa-Fate!” Haruhi declared.

A flood of nose blood broke the clubroom door off of its hinges, and it floated out into the hallway.

Oh, and TSS, when you finally read this, I’ve made you into a “she.” If you aren’t a “she,” uh, grab some scissors and make it so.

Dear Mom and Dad,

Well, I've just put the last of the rascals down for the evening. You would think that we’d have invented a sleeping spell by now, but instead, I’ve got to watch 178 five to twelve year old mages run around for the next month! We didn’t do a whole lot today other than unload all their crap off of the yellow transport ship and show them to their cabins. I swear that they’re like roaches; as soon as you find one kid, there are at least twenty more nearby causing some sort of mess. In the span of two hours, my shorts were lit on fire twice, and a five year old got his intelligent device lodged up his nose. The nurse had to pull it out. SO GROSS!

The only things going for me at the moment are the other councilors at Camp Wannamage. They are a pretty neat group this year, and I hope we don’t have the drama like LAST year. I’m in the female councilors cabin with Tia, Subaru, Fate, Nanoha, and Hayate. The six of us are in charge of all the female camper cabins, and one of us has to go out and patrol for escapees every night. Of course, we take turns, but we drew straws for tonight. Not surprisingly, I lost. Looks like a looooong day tomorrow since I'll be going without sleep. I feel a little left out though. I know Tia from last year, but the new girls seem a little distant. Maybe we're just a little careful of each other, and we'll break the ice later. Hopefully, they aren’t snobs, or else I’ll push them into the lake! I only caught a glimpse of the male councilors, and there aren’t any from last year. They look pretty studly though, except for one with long blond hair. He looks like he wets the bed and cries for mom, like the six year old in cabin two just did! Just got back from that fun little clean up mission! I HATE BED-WETTERS!!! I’m on night patrol now, and cabin four is having a pillow fight. If it gets any louder, I’ll have to go in and break it up. I’d rather not.

Most of the camp staff is the same as last year. Ms. Harlaown is still the director, and she’s as funny as ever. Shamal is still in charge of music. Vita, once again, is whining about being in charge of arts and crafts, which means I get another summer of complimenting her “noodle art.” So if my next letter is from the hospital in town, you’ll know why. Zafira is the maintenance man/wolf again, but this time he’ll be driving the speedboat. If you remember, that was Quatro’s job last year, but I haven’t seen her yet. Thank God if she's gone! She was such a psycho! Signum is doing the lifeguard thing in the swimming area. Although I’d rather drown than what she does if she catches you running on the dock. It makes me shudder just thinking about it.

What scares me most though is the new husband and wife camp cooks this year, Jail and Precia Scaglietti. They seem pretty nice if you only ignore the WEIRD things they say about (and to) the food! They’re prepping breakfast right now, and I’m listening to Precia mumbling about cloning the scrambled eggs and Jail naming every slice of bacon while calling the potatoes his “Army of Spud.” Can we say, “creepy?”

Wish me luck; this looks like it’s going to be a very long summer.

Raging Heart, Allqual, Preston, TSS planned to rob the the bank "i am telling this plan will work." Ranging heart said as she lookd at her team.

"i don't know, you know if we do rob the bank, the SWAT will come and kick our butts for sure." TSS said and looked at Raging Heart.

"you know the SWAT mean there is Fate, if there is Fate we all doomed." Preston added.

"that why i have two plans, one kidnap a hostage and second." Raging Heart stopped as she looked at the door "Nanoha-sama." she called out.

Nanoha walked throught the door dressed in black cloths "if there Fate, i will go and get her." she let out an evil laugh.

"ok we will met here at 12:30 pm, tomorrow." Ranging Heart looked at her team.

next day....

the group met up, they got there tools ready, guns, masks and everything they need, they all get in black van and drove off, the parked the van "TSS, let the van work so we take off as soon as we finish." Raging Heart said as she put her mask on her face, she was armed with her guns.

TSS nodded, Raging Heart looked at the rest "ready everyone?" she asked.

all nodded, let go then.

Satashi was doing some work in the bank, Satashi thought that it was quite day till a group of people wearing black and masks, guns aimed at everyone.

"ladies and gentlemen this is a bank robbery." Ranging heart said "everyone on floor NOW." she added as she pointed her guns at the people.

Satashi pressed the botton under the table "HEY YOU ON FLOOR OR I SHOT YOU." Allqual said pointing the gun at Satashi.

Satashi did what the robber said "ok everyone get the money." Ranging heart said.

three two Nanoha's team and one of Ranging's team stole the money, Nanoha looked out to see the police outside "someone called them." she said, she then walked to Satashi "you stand up." she said in cold tone.

Nanoha held Satashi as a hostage and pointed the gun at Satashi's head "walk." she ordered.

Nanoha shot at the air "stand back or i will kill everyone inside." she yelled loud at the officers.

"WTH." Allqual yelled shock.

Preston looked at Ranging Heart "that woman is cazy." Preston said.

"you may be crazy but she's skillful." Ranging Heart said.

" now." Ranging said as she looked at Preston.

Preston nodded and took the bags along with Zafira and went the back doors where TSS pulled the van.

Fate walked in along with her team and soon the bank hall became a war zone, Preston and Allqual griped Satashi took him out, Ranging watched as Fate and Nanoha fought.

"oh SH!T." Ranging Heart said as she get down to dogged a bulllet flew near her head "TAKE THIS." Ranging Heart yelled as she shot one of the SWAT.

"IT'S TIME TO LEAVE NOW." Ranging Heart said as she griped a bag and took off running as if hell after her.

Nanoha and her team backed as they shot the SWAT, all the robbers get in the van, Fate was the one who was out frist, she was about to shot Ranging Heart but then.

Satashi was thrown out the van at Fate, the black van drove off in high speed, Satashi land on Fate "GET OFF ME." Fate yelled as she throw Satashi off her.

"they run again, SH!T." Fate punched the wall in anger, at the van, Ranging Heart, Nanoha and both there teams are laughing.

Kyon could hear the screams of torment from down the hall. He sighed in his futility as he opened the door under the sign that read “Literature Club. His eyes immediately widened at what greeted him when he walked in.

“Kyon-kun!” Mikuru tearfully begged, “Help!”

Kyon gasped at the skin-tight, flesh-colored leotard that the cute, little time traveler was wearing. He had to take a double take because she looked naked at first glance. The girl on top of her had an outrageous outfit of blue and white robes with a very short skirt and a ridiculously long wig pulled up in a lopsided ponytail.

“What the hell is going on, Koizumi?” Kyon asked the smiling esper who looked rather butch in his outfit of black and gray with his hair dyed black.

“Suzumiya-san marathoned all three seasons of Mahou Shojo Lyrical Nanoha over the weekend. So it seems that it is magical girl dress up week,” the esper replied.

Kyon rubbed his forehead and sighed, and then he sat across from Koizumi and made the first move of their usual game.

“Kyon! Why aren’t you in costume?” shouted the Brigade Leader.

“I don’t see Yuki dressed in an outfit!” Kyon snarled back.

“She is, dumbshit! She’s Raising Heart!”

Yuki held up a small red pendant that was tied around her neck while still reading the book in her other hand.

“Ready…Standby…Set up…” said Yuki quietly and without emotion.

Haruhi did a little twirl at the phrase.

“Itsuki is Chrono Harlaown,” continued Haruhi.

“Shouldn’t I be Chrono?” asked a perplexed Kyon.

“Why?”

Kyon shrugged. He hadn’t seen the show but somehow felt linked to Chrono.

“What the hell is Asahina then?” he asked while pointing to the weeping pile of person in the corner.

Haruhi grinned evilly, “She’s Nanoha in mid-transform sequence. Watch!”

Kyon watched at Haruhi pulled two long sticks out of a small box and handed them to Asahina.

“Are you insane?” yelled Kyon comprehending what was going on, “You can’t light sparklers inside of the school!!”

But it was too late. Asahina screamed as Haruhi forced her to hold the spouting sparklers while spinning around. Haruhi sang the transformation music, and the screams and the singing echoed across the school campus. After a minute, the flames died out, and Asahina returned to being a quivering mass of humanity in the corner of the clubroom.

“Kyon! What are you waiting for, retard? Get your costume on.”

Kyon knew better than to fight her when she was like this, but a vein popped out of his head when he looked at the costume waiting for him behind the changing screen.

“I’m not wearing this!”

“Shut up and put it on!” commanded the SOS Brigade leader.
“Shouldn’t Koizumi and I switch outfits? This is way more up his alley!” yelled Kyon.

“I wonder what he could mean by that,” smirked Itsuki while turning a page over in his GQ magazine.

“Kyon, put it on this instant or else…PUNISHMENT!”

“Gah! Fine!” Kyon said with a huff as he pulled off his uniform jacket.

A small knock at the door startled everyone.

“Come in!” yelled Haruhi.

“Just bringing a note from the student council,” said the small voice as the door opened, “Excuse the intr-OH MY GOODNESS!! NANOHA!!”

Kyon nearly dropped the wig he was putting on when he heard the sure sounds of a fangirl squeal.

“What club is this where you dress up as Nanoha?” the girl bounced happily, “Your costumes are so good! May I join? Please, may I join?”

Haruhi looked down at the girl with interest while analyzing her, “We may have a spot for you. I see a gleam of it in your eyes, but I must first test it to be sure.”

“Huh?” the small girl said with confusion on her face.

“What’s your name?”

“Wanwan.”

“Well, Wanwan-chan, what do you see?”

Haruhi picked up sniveling Asahina and held her in front of the girl. Wanwan’s eyes never made it to Asahina’s face, because they were distracted by two large-

“Tracts of land…er…BEWBS!” drooled Wanwan.

“I knew it!” chuckled Haruhi triumphantly, “You’re a pervert!”

“I’m…I’m…not a pervert,” stuttered Wanwan.

But her pleas were lost on Haruhi whose hands moved to Asahina’s breasts.

“They’re really soft and frickin’ huge!” commented Haruhi as she groped two handfuls from the screaming girl.

“Gaaaaaaaaaaa….” Wanwan tried to speak, but she could only gargle because of the vast amounts of drool.

“Go ahead! Feel them! You won’t believe how large they are!” Haruhi said while seizing Wanwan’s hand and jamming it onto Mikuru’s chest.

Wanwan’s eyes bulged as blood erupted from her nose.

“Heh heh heh,” chuckled Haruhi, “Not a pervert, huh? I’ve got a costume reserved for the pervert. Put this on.”

“Oh cool! I get to be Hayate!” yelled Wanwan in excitement.

“Are you done yet, Kyon?” yelled Haruhi, “Wanwan needs to change.”

An audible sigh came from behind changing screen as Kyon stepped from behind it. Wanwan gasped.

“Crossplay Fate?” she yelped while looking at the hairy legs descending from the short black skirt.

The long blond wig pulled up into pigtails did nothing to hide Kyon’s embarrassment as he folded his arms under the while cape.

“Heh heh,” grinned Haruhi-Nanoha as she walked toward the scowling Kyon-Fate, “Nope, Wanwan, this is not Crossplay Fate.”

“Huh?” gasped the confused Wanwan.

Haruhi quickly grabbed the short skirt before Kyon had any time to react and pulled it up to his belly button and exposing his nether-regions for all the clubroom to see.

“It’s Futa-Fate!” Haruhi declared.

A flood of nose blood broke the clubroom door off of its hinges, and it floated out into the hallway.

Dear Mom and Dad,

Well, I've just put the last of the rascals down for the evening. You would think that we’d have invented a sleeping spell by now, but instead, I’ve got to watch 178 five to twelve year old mages run around for the next month! We didn’t do a whole lot today other than unload all their crap off of the yellow transport ship and show them to their cabins. I swear that they’re like roaches; as soon as you find one kid, there are at least twenty more nearby causing some sort of mess. In the span of two hours, my shorts were lit on fire twice, and a five year old got his intelligent device lodged up his nose. The nurse had to pull it out. SO GROSS!

The only things going for me at the moment are the other councilors at Camp Wannamage. They are a pretty neat group this year, and I hope we don’t have the drama like LAST year. I’m in the female councilors cabin with Tia, Subaru, Fate, Nanoha, and Hayate. The six of us are in charge of all the female camper cabins, and one of us has to go out and patrol for escapees every night. Of course, we take turns, but we drew straws for tonight. Not surprisingly, I lost. Looks like a looooong day tomorrow since I'll be going without sleep. I feel a little left out though. I know Tia from last year, but the new girls seem a little distant. Maybe we're just a little careful of each other, and we'll break the ice later. Hopefully, they aren’t snobs, or else I’ll push them into the lake! I only caught a glimpse of the male councilors, and there aren’t any from last year. They look pretty studly though, except for one with long blond hair. He looks like he wets the bed and cries for mom, like the six year old in cabin two just did! Just got back from that fun little clean up mission! I HATE BED-WETTERS!!! I’m on night patrol now, and cabin four is having a pillow fight. If it gets any louder, I’ll have to go in and break it up. I’d rather not.

Most of the camp staff is the same as last year. Ms. Harlaown is still the director, and she’s as funny as ever. Shamal is still in charge of music. Vita, once again, is whining about being in charge of arts and crafts, which means I get another summer of complimenting her “noodle art.” So if my next letter is from the hospital in town, you’ll know why. Zafira is the maintenance man/wolf again, but this time he’ll be driving the speedboat. If you remember, that was Quatro’s job last year, but I haven’t seen her yet. Thank God if she's gone! She was such a psycho! Signum is doing the lifeguard thing in the swimming area. Although I’d rather drown than what she does if she catches you running on the dock. It makes me shudder just thinking about it.

What scares me most though is the new husband and wife camp cooks this year, Jail and Precia Scaglietti. They seem pretty nice if you only ignore the WEIRD things they say about (and to) the food! They’re prepping breakfast right now, and I’m listening to Precia mumbling about cloning the scrambled eggs and Jail naming every slice of bacon while calling the potatoes his “Army of Spud.” Can we say, “creepy?”

Wish me luck; this looks like it’s going to be a very long summer.

the group met up, they got there tools ready, guns, masks and everything they need, they all get in black van and drove off, the parked the van "TSS, let the van work so we take off as soon as we finish." Raging Heart said as she put her mask on her face, she was armed with her guns.

TSS nodded, Raging Heart looked at the rest "ready everyone?" she asked.

all nodded, let go then.

Satashi was doing some work in the bank, Satashi thought that it was quite day till a group of people wearing black and masks, guns aimed at everyone.

"ladies and gentlemen this is a bank robbery." Ranging heart said "everyone on floor NOW." she added as she pointed her guns at the people.

Satashi pressed the botton under the table "HEY YOU ON FLOOR OR I SHOT YOU." Allqual said pointing the gun at Satashi.

Satashi did what the robber said "ok everyone get the money." Ranging heart said.

three two Nanoha's team and one of Ranging's team stole the money, Nanoha looked out to see the police outside "someone called them." she said, she then walked to Satashi "you stand up." she said in cold tone.

Nanoha held Satashi as a hostage and pointed the gun at Satashi's head "walk." she ordered.

Nanoha shot at the air "stand back or i will kill everyone inside." she yelled loud at the officers.

"WTH." Allqual yelled shock.

Preston looked at Ranging Heart "that woman is cazy." Preston said.

"you may be crazy but she's skillful." Ranging Heart said.

" now." Ranging said as she looked at Preston.

Preston nodded and took the bags along with Zafira and went the back doors where TSS pulled the van.

Fate walked in along with her team and soon the bank hall became a war zone, Preston and Allqual griped Satashi took him out, Ranging watched as Fate and Nanoha fought.

"oh SH!T." Ranging Heart said as she get down to dogged a bulllet flew near her head "TAKE THIS." Ranging Heart yelled as she shot one of the SWAT.

"IT'S TIME TO LEAVE NOW." Ranging Heart said as she griped a bag and took off running as if hell after her.

Nanoha and her team backed as they shot the SWAT, all the robbers get in the van, Fate was the one who was out frist, she was about to shot Ranging Heart but then.

Satashi was thrown out the van at Fate, the black van drove off in high speed, Satashi land on Fate "GET OFF ME." Fate yelled as she throw Satashi off her.

Darkness. The only thing noticeable is the murmur of a lot of people. Suddenly a single light turns on, to the left of the scene. Everyone turn their heads that way and notice Chrono standing there in a suit.

“Welcome ladies and gentlemen from all around Mid-Childa! Tonight we have a special treat for you. We’ve have prepared this for week and now it’s time to unveil…”

The crowd began cheering as Chrono took a deep breath and yelled out:

“THE STRIKERS COVER BAAAAND!”

The cheering was deafening. Chrono had trouble being heard over the roar.

“And without further delay, let us begin.”

The light blacked out and everything turned black once again.

Everything was visible again when the music suddenly turned on. A long introduction, with only instruments ensued until Nanoha’s voice was heard.

[Now everyone sensed the song was soon over. The guitar came to an end and it ended with a small explosion on the scene.]

The crowd was in uproar. Everyone was cheering, whistling and jumping. The light focused on the scene once more and Chrono came out.

“That was the first song of many here tonight! Let me tell you who does what! On drums, we have…Reinforce Zwei!”

Rein punched the drums in a series of fast notes and ended with a bang.

“Over at guitar….. Fate T. Harlaown!”

She did a short solo only a few second long but it was enough to add to the crowds cheering.

“At the bass guitar we have… Hayate Yagami!”

Low bass ounds came from her direction as she pulled the strings.

“And here we have, on vocals….. Nanoha Takamachi!”

Nanoha made some growls addressing the crowd, thanking them.

“I hope you stay with us tonight, because we have much more to give you!”

The light turned out once again as a new song started to build.

When Macmillan got the order to look out for a potential ambush he decided that the best viewpoint of the area would be on the roof. He ran up the stairs and found a big door blocking his path but that was nothing a simple kick could solve. The door dropped from its hinges and made a loud metallic sound when it hit the floor. He stepped out onto the roof and looked around. From here he could see the big pillar of smoke coming from the destroyed HQ. The sun was going down behind it and he checked his watch.
“9:23 PM. I hope those choppers will be here soon, I don’t want to fight those things in the dark.”
[The helicopters’ ETA is now twenty minutes]
“Yeah, I know Vanguard, you don’t have to remind me. It’s not like I’m afraid or something.”
The device remained quiet and he scanned the area once more. About five hundred meters away, from the direction of the HQ, dust were climbing into the air and a rumbling noise started to grow louder.
“Oh shit, they are already here? Damn machines.”
He opened a com link to Fate.
“Investigator! Those drones or whatever we saw back there are heading this way! We need to prepare for an attack.”
Fate looked around and found who she was looking for.
“Sergeant! Go up to the roof and team up with Macmillan! Try to take as many of those machines down before they make it here.”
“Yes, ma’am!” Macmillan heard from off-screen.
Fate turned to him again and spoke with anger in her voice.
“Macmillan, make sure none of those things gets in here. I will try to take care of the defenses down here. We will bunker up and attack from the inside. You two will be the only ones outside so be careful.”
Macmillan nodded and cut the link.
Just like that day, he thought. The sun setting, rescue on the way and enemies closing in. It’s a race against time just as then.
A few moments later Vic arrived.
“Have you seen any other type of drone than what we saw back there?”
“Yeah, I think they are setting them up right now. Look over there, to the farthest right of their formation.”
Vic picked up Barret and ordered him to be ready.
[Scharfschütze Mode]
Vic zoomed in towards the point where Macmillan had pointed and saw some kind of two-legged blob settling into the ground. On the top of its metallic structure it had something similar to artillery cannons, but Vic wasn’t sure.
He got that confirmed when he was blinded by them. A bright light came from the cannons and something came at them. It looked like a comet with its long bright tail and it was shaped like a ball.
“Shit. Macmillan, don’t let that thing hit the building!”
The man smiled and turned towards the projectile.
[Protection Mode]
Vanguard expanded its shield so it was big enough to cover most of the building front.
[Vanshield]
The magic shield sprung to life and quickly settled itself over Vanguards extended metal shield. It hummed with magic and shone like the sun when the projectile hit. Vic was standing behind Macmillan but he could still feel the pressure from the impact. The shield flared for a moment and everything went quiet.
The projectile had been successfully blocked. Vanguard started its cooling system and let the hot air out. Macmillan lowered his arm and turned to Vic.
“That is all I can do from here. Now it’s your turn Silence. Show them what you can do.”
Vic eyed the man standing in front of him with a strange look.
“I don’t remember when you last called me that.”
Macmillan just smiled. He made a small shrug and leaned against a wall. Vic shook his head and looked down on Barret who lay in his hands.
“You ready partner?”
[Natürlich, Sergeant]
“Then let’s do this.”
[Scharfschütze Shot]

The defenses around the hospital had been set up. Fate had been giving orders to those who could still stand to barricade all exits and provide covering fire when the drones came into range. From the point where she was standing she could see the mechanic army advancing on their position.
Teana had convinced Subaru to carry her somewhere so she could see what was going on. Subaru had made a big sigh and simply let the red haired girl have it her way. They now stood together next to Fate near the windows.
[Scharfschütze Shot]
Two sharp shots were heard and a number of drones exploded almost at the same time. They noticed the small orbs in the air coming out from the masses and turning to perform another attack. This time they aimed for the massive mechs who had been firing artillery-like projectiles on them just a minute ago. The two shots just pinged of the thick armor and went wild.
The artillery mechs didn’t even notice and fired new projectiles against them. Fate noticed they had changed the trajectory this time and that they would come down on the side of the building. In other words, Macmillan couldn’t block it since he was on the roof. She turned to the two girls standing beside her.
“Subaru, I will take care of those artillery machines. You stay here and keep things in order.”
“What? Me? But I’m only a private! I can’t take the resp-“
“All the other officers are either in combat or can’t even move. Subaru, you are the only one here without any serious injuries, except Doc, but he is busy tending to the injured. Help him with what you can and take charge here.”
Fate opened the window and flew out into the air, leaving a very confused Subaru.
The projectiles had closed in on their position by now and Fate positioned herself where the impact would be and activated Bardiche.
[Defenser Plus]
A shield appeared in front of Fate and its size was just enough to take the impact. The projectiles hit it head-on but they were blocked by it. It took a great deal of strength to withstand the impact so she felt rather tired afterwards.
“Investigator? Are you all right?”
Vic’s voice. She looked to her right and saw that a com window had appeared.
“I’m fine Sergeant. Continue to fire, but only focus on the small ones. Your shots bounced of the bigger ones.”
Vic looked disappointed. “Yeah, I noticed. I can’t get enough power to penetrate the armor. It must be really thick.”
Fate looked at the mechanical army that was still advancing. Their numbers had been greatly reduced, but they kept on coming. The artillery mechs were standing motionless farther back, probably recharging. They had to be taken out before they fired again and if they did, she wouldn’t have enough strength to block the shots.
“Sergeant, here is the plan. Take out as many as you can and I will go in behind their lines and take care of the big ones. Don’t worry about me, this shouldn’t be too hard. If the small ones are too close for comfort, I recommend you send in Macmillan first and you stay there to provide backup. Understood?”
“Understood ma’am,” Vic said and closed the link.
Fate flew straight up into the air and then changed her course so she flew directly above the army. She tried to count them but quickly gave up. There were too many of them, both ground and air drones.
Fate shook her head. I shouldn’t be thinking of this now, she thought as she finally reached the artillery machines.
[Plasma Lancer]
Six spheres of light appeared and set course for the machines. They divided themselves into two groups, three in each, and attacked. Taking the heavy armor into account, the spheres needed to hit the same area to have any chance of breaking through and they therefore positioned themselves one after another.
The impacts happened at the same time. The first volley only made a dent, but the second volley made a small crack appear in the thick armor. The third came shortly after and pierced the machine. It exploded and the small drones who had been trying to protect it were caught in the blast.
Satisfied with those machines gone, she flew into the air towards the hospital. Drones lay immobile all over the area. Vic had taken down almost all of them. She opened a com link.
“Vic, how’s it going?”
“We are doing fine over here ma’am. I think the worst is over.”
“Let’s hope so,” Fate said with a tired voice. “I’m coming back to you guys. Heard anything from the choppers?”
“Nothing new, but I think they will arrive here shortly.”
She nodded and shut the link. All that’s left now is to wait. I hope nothing else happens.

When she arrived at the hospital again she noticed Vic staring at something in the direction of the old base. She landed next to him.
“Do you see anything interesting?”
“I would say it looks more worrying than interesting,” he said and pointed at something in the sky.
Something huge emerged through the clouds. It was shaped like a bird, but much bulkier and coated in black. Small, black dots flew out from its belly and disappeared beneath the hills. There were dozens of them. The huge ship circled the base in a wide circle and it looked like it had no intention to land.
“What are those small things? Can you see them?” Fate asked the sergeant.
He zoomed in and the reply came shortly after.
“Shuttles. It looks like they are re-deploying the drones. From the looks of it, I guess that huge ship is their base.”
Fate bit her lip. If those things attacks again we’re finished and I have no idea if that ship has any weapons. I hope it doesn’t.
“Investigator!”
Macmillan suddenly appeared on the roof again. He had gone back down and helped the others during the attack.
“The choppers are coming! They are telling us to evacuate to a field not far from here. They will wait for us there.”
Fate wasted no time.
“Get the others ready and get them there as fast as possible before the enemy attacks again.”

The evacuation went smoothly. When they reached the field the choppers were already there, waiting for them. When they had gotten everyone on board, Fate waved them off and flew herself some moments after. She wanted to make sure the choppers were safe and intended to protect them if the enemy attacked.
As she looked behind her, she noticed the big ship had made a turn towards them and was now very close to the hospital where they had taken refuge. When she studied the huge ship, something happened beneath its belly. Two huge cannons of some sorts extended and aimed for the old building. The pipes glowed a bright white and suddenly fired a blinding stream of light. Fate couldn’t look at it and had to close her eyes. When the roaring sound that came from the attack disappeared, she looked again. Where the building had been there were now only black, charred dirt. No sign of metal or anything else, everything just disintegrated.
By now the huge ship had closed in on them and was on a collision course. Fate tried to think of something but couldn’t. What could she do? That ship wouldn’t take any damage from her attacks and it would most certainly counterattack.
She didn’t have to think any longer when it suddenly changed its altitude. It was now on a slightly higher course than the choppers. When it was almost on top of them, its engines increased the output and it tipped itself upwards. It was only a few hundred meters from them when it disappeared into the clouds. The choppers weren’t safe however. The shockwave from the acceleration and the sudden air changes made them unstable. They began to lose altitude and some almost lost control. The pilots had a though time keeping them under control, but somehow managed to keep them in the air.
The only thing left now was to reach the base. As they flew above the ground, the sun disappeared beneath the horizon.

The things are geting interesting.

What is the intention of those drons? I think that if they wanted to kill everybody, they shal do it since the begining

So that means of course there won't be another chapter of RebelS for a month (but I will be able to write so there will be one when I get back :3 and I'll have hopefully written a sufficient outline and be able to write the rest of the series with ease (Ease Ha ha ha)

So I have this vision. The Yagami-ke as your typical 50s-sitcom-perfect-on-the-outside, 70s-soap-issues-and-dysfunction-on-the-inside family. Signum is the arch-conservative power suit-wearing boardroom-warrior all-business-except-with-the-old-college-friends-every-blue-moon breadwinner husband. Shamal as the weepy and marginalized but nonetheless faithful wife. They have 2.2 beautiful daughters (hi Rein), a loyal dog (you-know-who), and a house with a white picket fence.

But all's not well in wonderland. The eldest daughter, Hayate, she got her mom's looks but her father's ambition. She wants an education, a high-powered career, and social justice. Daddy wants nothing more than the happiness of his daughters, but she's a man of her time (yes I keep switching pronouns to amuse myself) and doesn't believe it will come from those things. And Hayate's a good churchgoing girl, doesn't hang around with strange boys and hardly any familiar ones, but there's something a different kind of strange about her girlfriends...

The middle daughter, Vita, is worth just as much trouble pound-for-pound. She idolizes Hayate and her friends and resents her parents trying to steer her away from them. These days she's sullen and moody around the house. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and so withheld she hardly wants to do anything but that it be with her sister these days. Everything except her sports, and those are an issue all of their own.

Seems the only one who isn't much trouble for her parents is little Rein, but she's impulsive and energetic even for her age, and helps wear them down between the real battles. It could be a light straw indeed that breaks the camel's back.

Of course, their father is a strong woman and strict disciplinarian and for all his children. The way of youth is often wayward, she knows that, and also knows it is his duty to correct them. Or so it should be, but the parents aren't all they seem either. Deep down Signum is a romantic, pining over past glories and hoping for future battles anywhere but her own house. Work is where she's needed, but it no longer feels like the good fight it once was as a young man. As for Shamal, one can't help but wonder if seeing her husband cast her thoughts afar she won't do the same. Dysfunctional just isn't dysfunctional if no one's cheating, now is it?

So far as the concept goes I like this as a blog where events are revealed from multiple perspectives by journal entries from different family members.
