Slack defending early on by the Germans. Regardless, good finish by Ballotelli!

Nevermind Italy's wasted chances in earlier games ... against Germany, they simply score for some reason.

Holy fuck, 2/2 for Balotelli... he was so ineffective in ALL previous games

Nonetheless, I hope the Germans show some Greek spirit and equalize

Even better finish by Mario for his second goal.

Did you watch Sunday night's game? He didn't score but he beat England's off-side trap with ease and consistently looked dangerous.

He scored against the Irish and he had his fair share of chances in the previous game. The Spanish game was the only one I'd say he was poor in.

Just what I said, against Germany Italy simply converts their chances

Anyway, the fat lady hasn't sung yet. Bring in Reus for Podolski and get the offense going.

I forgot how football looks like when two sides want to score instead one side wants to hog the ball and the other side can't do anything.

Well yea, for a neutral observer and Italians this match is certainly more fun to watch than the other semifinal

Let's hope that Germany will properly fight back in the second half.

This is the first real opponent Germany has had in this tournament aside from the first match. And even Portugal doesn't play entirely on the level of Spain and Italy, so no wonder the Germans are struggling. Italy on the other hand has already faced Spain, England and the Ukraine if I'm correct. It's still doable for the Germans, but they have to get their sh*t together and bring in Reus and Klose.

That's what Löw just did. Klose for Gomez and Reus for Podolske (finally!)

So. We'll rather lose 4:1 than keep it 2:0. Fair nuff.

Germany have no choice but to go all out now. If they do manage to turn it round it would be amazing to watch so I'm still rooting for them. Go for it Germany.

Too bad Germany doesn't have the comeback capability as the American team.

A Spain-Italy final. Ugh, it's gonna be boring.

It involves Spain, of course it's going to be boring.

The judge should have waited for the attack to be finished before announcing the end
