hmmm can anyone confirm about the character age's out of curiosity .. since in anime, physical age recognition is hard/impossible to tell .....

I think it's bullshit. It says that she was born in 1984.

The timeline of Total Eclipse is 2001? So she is 17? Wow.. She is either a savant or some shit if she is able to create the EM Radiation Cannon AND be an ACE pilot, AND be a high ranking officer.

She did not create the cannon, her dad did.

How old did she finished high school anyway? Add the years in the military academy then the years to be promoted. Ok, if she got high grades and strong ties, it's still too quick for her age...

Anything is possible for Anime, majority of the main characters of Total Eclipse are younger than 20.

Well, it's not like a lot of characters get to live past that age so I guess there are a lot of vacancies on the military

Well aside from Yui and Phoebe the operator girl, none of the actual age for the other characters have been revealed. Tasha and the rest of the Zhar battlion kids are 15 years old btw.

5 billion people have been killed. Regular citizens are drafted at 15, with women draft being compulsory, men being something of a...valued commodity (majority of people killed so far are actually men). Yui reached the rank earlier, partially because of her connections, but also because she started her training earlier, since she's technically from a samurai vassal family, who don't have to follow the same rules and generally train from childhood.

This is one of those animes where I just deny some of the canon and make my own personal fanfic lore. XD

You're playing the original VN right? The protag's group is on Yui's age.
