I found an hypnotic quality to Sakuya's kansai ben.
They cut some parts from the manga. I understand why they did it, but I'm a bit bummed about not seeing Isumi pleading with Hayate to not leave her... And hearing Sakuya's reasons for pointing the finger at Gilbert would have been nice, too. And Isumi is cute, as always. So is Nagi. |

Not really a good episode, it felt somewhat like they were just trying to put in all the main events and skip anything else. Only a few little funny points too and it had far too much Gilbert and nowhere near enough Isumi.

I didn't find it too bad. It had more Sakuya and a Gurren-Lagann-ish robot, so I can't fault those. A bit more dramatic than some of the other episodes, but still entertaining overall, and I'm not looking for much beyond that. Next week, being another Nishizawa episode, is looking fun already. We can always use more of the hamster.

This episode eased me a bit after the ending of Lucky Star's ... Next episode seems to be pretty fun, too.

This worked like it did in the manga, though anime has Wakamoto, so it was a little bit more enjoyable --- especially his last speech.
& yes, next episode does look rather good. I pointed out that this is the end of the manga material that we've seen, so anything new is welcome. Crossdressing returns. <3

Hina is not needed in EVERY episode for gods sake >_>
I obviously didnt get all references but there are two I would like to ask: 1) The room where Nagi etc are hiding, that looks 1:1 to the underground cave of Tokyo majin gakuen kenpucho, where Kisaragi hides the sword. But maybe its just similar looking. 2) I guess I am completely (sp?) here but I thought the bag? (dont know how you call that exactly...) is 100% the same thing Masamori from Kekkaishi is carrying whenever you see him. Then again it could be something that appears in several anime. edit: <3 Saki |

no she does not, but she has to appear because if not then this gets really boring. I only laughed once in this ep and it was when the other two butler guys were comenting on how Hayate had lost it. Because Nagi= annoying. She really gets on my nerves, and I wish Hayate does not end with her. And not just because i do not like her, but it would look just wrong.

Somehow Isumi looked so sad when she said "Don't worry, Hayate has gone to save Nagi...". Looks like (imo) the show has gone down the road of a NagiXHayate ending now that Isumi's out of the picture when she admits they look good together at the end of the show. Pity!
