Keima seems to think that Shiori is avoiding him because of memories but isn't it possible that she's just a fan of Kanon. I mean in the omake she started listening to music and reading lyrics.

You're fighting a losing argument on that one. For far too many genre fans, if a girl doesn't fit within certain narrow parameters, but is still presented as attractive, they become disturbed and confused, and predictably react with strong emotion. It's only going to get worse as the moe fad really gets into its death throes...

The funny thing is, actual traps are much more accepted than reverse traps. If Yui actually were a boy, and were crossdressing as a girl, we'd be inundated with trap fans, and the same ones who are complaining now would either be squeeing along with them, or would be too afraid of offending someone to complain.

quigonkenny: The man speaks the truth. There's nothing inherently wrong with Yui herself, it's just that the readers that are used to the usual moe archetypes are VERY confused right now.

LOL! Instead of Yui remebering the capture, it is more like Keima remember himself being captured. That scene is so right yet so wrong hahaha.

From the scan, it seems like Shiori will be a tough one. She is quiet to begin with and Keima ask her at a time when she is reading a book where she is completely focus during that time. Howevr that reaction is interesting. Is she really ignoring Keima or she is reading something yaoi related?

EDIT: Just saw the Chinese scanlation, and I've got to say Yui wears that boy's uniform very well... Anyone who sees her as "girlish bishounen" as opposed to "hot chick in a boy's uniform" clearly needs their eyes checked. She looks not at all masculine (though her actions appear otherwise), which makes her detractors appear all the more silly.

If Yui becomes bi then everyone will be happy. It's funny how in every band it seems that the drummer is always the one that falls in the butch category. BTW the only one other example I can think of right now is Ritsu.
