Well..there were some really techno/moe/distorted parts which wasn't written in the lyrics/BK...Don't tell me you deciphered "ai" from that....

There's a bit of irony in all this. Shirley died, but she never stopped loving Lelouch. Lelouch died, but Kallen will never stop loving Lelouch. C.C. lived on but she'll never forget Lelouch. Code Geass makes it rather apparent that there is something after death, notably with Clovis' death and the World of C. When you can have magic powers to stop time, bend wills, see the future, or whatever, you can have an afterlife.

Well as much as i would love for my ShirleyLulu to have a chance, i won't go around to say they united at the afterlife. XD

Anyway, back on topic, Kallen realized that Lulu loved her {romantically or not that is ambiguous, though i think there are strong hints about romantic interest, then again i see that with Shirley and CC so yeah XD}, his "live on" was his wish for her to stay safe in the "new" world and i think the song is about love and gratefulness.
