just got hold of the OST and it's GOOOOOD

my biggest complaint is you're going to hear the song that Siam, Canaan, and Alphard hum a LOT. i swear it has 50 variations.

Highlights of the OST are "Crazy Taxi", "Love&Peace", and "Alphard".

GET IT

Wow, three discs? Sure it's been a while since i watched the series, though i didn't think there was that much material. Can kinda understand what you mean when you mention the different versions of that one piece.

Just finished this. It took a while for it to pick up and I was really getting into but in the end I still couldn't totally grasp Alphard's reasoning for killing Siam. Well I kind of did but I was hoping for something more..grand since that's what a majority of events in the show revolved around so I was just hoping for something better to really seal the deal with this series for me. Ep.12/13 just let me down when it was finally revealed what really made Alphard tick.

Spoiler:

Show had good potential but ended with a fizzled instead of a bang.

Got the fanbook. Animate sold it to me for 2,415 Yen. Weird though, the book's price (printed) said 2,300 IIRC. Need to check again.

I just picked up the fanbook myself about a week ago. I was like, "Oh crap, I want this." I kind of found out about it later. It's got that really cool shot of 'Canaan' crouching. Definitely wanted to add it to my collection of artbooks. I really gotta finish the show. Gawd, if only someone would pick it up already. It's too goddamn awesome.

*I know I haven't been here in awhile but my "currently watching" is still the same because I haven't finished goddammit.

Got some images on CANAAN. Most are from the fanbook and from BD DVD scans.

Canaan should've worn this when she confronted Alphard in the toilet.

I like this one.

Just found that Akio Otsuka was in the 428 Wii game as Saeki. Never realized it. I don't know what his role was, though.

Not completely regarding topic (and might already have been answered by 66 pages is just too much): Is there anything known about a fan translation (project) or even an official translation for the 428 Wii game?

I hope that will change, though as it came only out for consoles (and not PC) I thought from the beginning that it would be very unlikely but I still wanted to confirm it.

This shouldn't concern many here, but the first German DVD of Canaan appeared a couple of days ago, including the Japanese and German dub in 5.1, but no subtitles . It looks like the publisher wanted to save some money and now there's the typical uproar in the forums .

More information on my website.

I haven't checked it myself because I don't buy an anime DVD without subtitles, but I heard some good things about it. The publisher usually uses a good dubbing cast so I can believe it's bearable^^;.

Wait: A DVD with Japanese dub but no subtitles for them? Isn't that kinda useless for most of those who buy the dvd and want to watch it with the Japanese dub?
