the irony is that it appears the SWA might actually become what it pretended to be in the beginning: a medical and scientific research facility aimed at actually helping people. The current cyborgs would live more like Claes, and possibly get longer lifespans.

This manga went kind of down the drain in the last volume or so. Don't get me wrong, it was very good, but there's something I missed there... Its demise felt very rushed as its epilogue kind of anticlimactic too, but strangely satisfactory as a grand finale.
I'd expected something different, when they showed that certain girl in the epilogue. I Hoped for a kind of a new start, but nope. It was the end anyway. This is the first time I'd rather wanted an open ending. btw, I've been a fan of GG for the last 10 years too. |
