I think that design looks great. It's like an enhanced version of StrikerS style...Somehow that got lost when they animated them.

Back to say that oh my god out of all the series they choose to animate, this is quite possibly the most controversial one. I sincerely hope they DON'T do the transformation scene, because it was awkward enough since the very original and continues to be god darn awkward ESPECIALLY when it involves pre-teen kids.

It can't be any worse than the Transformation sequences they've already animated since the first season and the movies. Besides, in this case the transformation involves (some of) them growing up.
