So Keima finally is back to the present, but doesn't look ok.
I really like the page with all the girl and their moments with Keima.

It's a lampshading. If princes used to kiss princesses to wake them up now the princess will kiss the prince to wake him up. Except now a goddess should kiss the god and wake god from his slumber.

Then in even further reversal of the trope rather than a goddess kissing god a devil will kiss god to wake him up. And the only available devil is Elsie. This the way to happy ever after.

Yes this must happen.

All in all it looks that while the numbers are nothing spectacular, they should still be on the pretty decent to good range. So maybe it's just the author's personal decision?

Though even combining the numbers for both the regular and limited edition of volume 24, it did seem to sell considerably less than 23... Then again selling nearly 100 000 copies hardly seems like it would make the publishers go "Well, this manga is clearly not popular anymore. Let's cancel it."
So yeah, to me it does seem like his personal decision. And like, I only just got caught up on the manga again after having received volume 25 yesterday and then being all "Screw it, I wanna read the rest now!" once I'd finished it... Reading the last 20 chapters with the knowledge that the manga is ending, it did seem to me that he made the decision to start wrapping up the story a while back. Like, everything after the whole deal with Kaori was concluded has seemed like pretty clear endgame-territory to me. But yeah, that might just be me looking at it from the perspective of already knowing that the end is near at the time I started reading volume 25.

Edit: now the chapter is out too, and it's not too bad. Team Haqua's part feels a little rushed, but I don't mind it, since this manga is close to an end. As for Keima, we'll have to wait for the next chapter to find out what happened to him... them.

this chapter just show what Hakua and the rest are doing and confirmed that something happen to Keima, anyway, it look like they forgot about Elsie.

I can imagine it showing all the girls sensing something and gathering their thoughts into their hearts to bring Keima back, kinda like in Persona 3...or was it 4, or both? I know it's at least one of them.

It would be an interesting twist if Elsie ended up in Keima's body. What would happen to Keima though...?

Coming this Fall, TWGOK 2!

Then again, I don't know what other sort of storyline the author could draw up besides the switch. Seem like a mini-arc that could have ended the series if it happened. I would be pleasantly surprised if the author thought up more great material, but I'm glad that we got what we did.

The kiss didn't work, what now? *mischevious grin* instant orgy! <--- This has already happened in the ending of Omamori Himari and they had lots of funbarely managed to save the male lead

Here's a twist one of my friends come up with: The manga doesn't end with Keima choosing one of the girls to love forever. It ends with an advertisement for The World God Only Knows dating sim for PSP/Vita, where YOU get to decide who he ends up with.
