Spoiler for Excerpt from the Agency archives:
Wow... Itsuki, you kinda suck if you're a bottom-rung member with someone like that in a high position

Itsuki is 15 years old and has little talent to offer the Agency besides being an Esper.

I figure it's mainly due to his age that he's at the bottom rung, though.

Also Hiroyuki Koizumi being a philosopher would explain why his son spouts out with all these nutty theories to Kyon.

Just more VN content, though.

Almost, but Hanatarou's zanpakutou actually stores up the damage it heals until it gets full, then... turns into a scalpel and can be used to release all that energy at once in a single devastating attack.

The drawback there being that it's a scalpel, in a series where everyone else has a BFS as a weapon.

No, the drawback there is that it has to be recharged after every use.

Well yeah, but there's still the fact that the blade is like, what? An inch long? I'd say having a weapon that is nearly impossible to use is a far greater drawback than one that gets exactly one successful hit before having to recharge it.

Of course, it's a bit of a moot point, as he's stuck with both problems

You know, we should probably end this discussion unless we're going to start a Bleach GB. Which we aren't. Because that'd be weird.

Wasn't it also mentioned that in terms of strength as an Esper Itsuki was at the bottom tier?

Very nice by the way. I love this crazy secret organization back story for the organization.

The only problem I have with it is that it's something that might conflict with information that Tanigawa might bring out later. Still, you know, whatever!

Since it's fanon, it doesn't matter.

Given the nature of the series, I don't think that discovering the inner workings of the organization is very likely.

I'd sooner believe we'll see the future Mikuru hails from than finding out anything we don't know about the Organization, to be honest

Which, I might add, is one weird future. I mean, if you don't know how a boat works...?

By the way, you snatched post 16000.

It could be a future where the world's become a Coruscant. Maybe they converted all their lakes, rivers and oceans into apartment space.

Funny, I'm usually the one to point that out

Oddly, I had thought something similar... go figure, huh?

Or it could be a future where earth was rendered uninhabitable due to post nuclear warfare and now humanity all live on the moon, mars and space colonies.

And being trained for operation in regular gravity, would make Mikuru a super soldier in her time.

And Kyon is much to relieved when Mikuru tells him that there's an ocean in her time (it's radioactive, and everything in it's dead).

And it's all Mikuru(Big)'s fault because she got the dude who would have caught the bug in the Central Australian Alliances missle detection network drunk that morning, causing him to not come into work and find the bug, causing the Central Australian Alliances to think they were being attacked by the Swaziland/Lichtenstein confederation.

World war IV happens and it's all Mikuru's fault.

Or perhaps boats and ships have been rendered totally obsolete by new forms of transit, and the concept of the pleasure cruise is dead. *shrug*

Sail boats are obsolete technologically, but people still use them.

None of this is possible though if Mikuru causes the entire world to be destroyed.

Or she lives far inland in one of those super towers and has never seen the ocean, and being young has never had to know how a boat works. Never having been around the sea or any real body of water can make a boat fantastic technology.

Can Mikuru even swim?
