Speaking of weapons... did I miss something or did Izuka and Valerie NOT explain who or what was making all of the cursed blades?

I mean, they both knew something about it, but I don't remember them going into detail about it.

Also, it is absolutely amazing how Fi is so eager to kill a lot of demons. Imagine if anyone in Nanoha actually came out and said "so I'm going on a journey to kill a lot of the bad guys! "

OTOH, apparently communication back then was much more patchy. What started as "Prince Valerie has a problematic hobby of raising demons" ended up as "There's a bona fide Demon King in Pastillage" to whoever was removed enough.

Wow, this episode was kinda sad in yuri aspect
you see that the princess and her yuusha had a romantic relationship howewer since the princess died her yuusha married with her brother without chemistry

Nobility works more or less the same regardless of time, or place. Isuka has on several occasions called them a married couple, seemingly in jest, but most likely not. They also sleep in the same room, but on different beds(?).
In regards to Valerie's demon lord status, it's all a hoax, Adel didn't even take him seriously. They sealed each other away after their children became independent, once their grandchildren were born.

Maybe he's feeling guiltier than she does. He's the smart one, so he should have known how it would end for Clarifié. Or found a way to save her, like he found a way to help Hina.

Adelle isn't stupid, but what she knows of Demons, she probably heard from Valerie.

I agree. Ever since the end of season 1 I've been wanting to know who or what made the Demon Blades, why, and where they're from. The image of the baby fox getting cursed in the first season made me think it might be from somewhere "outside", in one sense or another. It'd be cool to delve deeper and maybe have a battle against the source.

Additionally, I'd like to know who cast the Furball spell that protects the entire land from serious harm, and how. Seems like it came about around the same time as the flashback; hope it's not connected to the old, malfunctioning monument...

Also, a speculation that I know will never happen in this story that started with potential for interesting action development and then decided after one season to settle for panties and furry fun. Ep8 seems to suggest that contact with different types of demons and evil can have different effects. We know that Fi's power makes her highly susceptible. The black clothes suggests it, but we're never actually told what happened to Fi. Thus, something that'd be cool but wouldn't happen: by being exposed to and absorbing the poisonous miasma of all those demons, Fi started to change in a way similar to the baby fox, only on a much deeper level, and if the seal where the Hero King and Demon King breaks down further, we'll get a Demon Queen of royal blood with all the power to match the Heroes and compatibility with the Crystals.

Now that I've actually watched episodes 6, 7, and 8, I am somewhat annoyed with the folks who did the music for episode 6. The part near the beginning where Leo introduced herself and she and her competitors appeared on the stage used a piece of music from season 1 that played during what was, in my opinion, the single most awesome and badass moment in the entire series. They had no business misusing it for something as insignificant as this.

i ' m still not sure who's P.O.V. of the Adele bathing scene is accurate, the BD extra manga clearly shows Valerie going Jiraiya mode while the anime has him acting like a pure minded shocked harem protag who goes ~kyaaa!!!~

The BD-extra was probably from Adele's perspective, while the anime version was probably from Valerie's.

so putting aside the tragic end of Fi nee-san

i kind find it funny that Hina didn't end up being an eternal loli character arch type,

then came my stupid (JOKE) speculation, what if Cou is the reincarnation of Fi? yeah it sounds stupid cuz' her appearance is the result of the passed family genes duh,
due to Valerie being his sister's brother, he decided to do that Demon's Blood experiment on her that caused Isuca & his sister's immortality in the first place, albeit reversed it that may or may not require involvement of their children then grandchildren & so on, well her funeral seals the deal so its not technically involving using her original body, hibernation or not, also Valerie's reaction to Adele fusing with Cou in ep4 say he never seen that stunt since his sister so making him not aware thus him not doing any of those resurrection experiments in the first place thus debunked, again take this as a joke.

I'm sorry, no chemistry? Those two were on the ship being shipped off the shipyard all the way back after their first episode in season 2. Even the girls in the series itself went "squeeee~!" at those two.

More the two were different events, and likely the first time was a genuine accident.

Well, it's... not entirely impossible that Fi has some influence on the transformation. Recall that Fi is a spirit user, and right now her being dead would make her a spirit (the post-credit scene, whole mostly joking, does hint at that at well). The attack was very much akin to her magic, as Valery notes.

Pure speculation, but it's theoretically possible that Fi was involved in the fusion event.

For me it was even more tragic, as Fi saw Adelé as more than just a friend but Adelé seemed to have the hots for Valerié since he put his hand on her head.

Clarifier ep was great backstory stuff, but man I hated how she had to die like that, but she was truly a great leader wanting the betterment of not just her own kingdom but for the whole world! I've got greater respect for healers in video games now

Adel not having a great earth life caught me by surprise though, but her cheerfulness came from her time in Flonyard so it's great she got called up for hero duty. I hope that Sink doesn't get tired of Earth life, I'm tired of that guy getting glomped by my Yukikaze

Valery's rise as the demon king was hilarious, I was wondering how the guy got such a title while being the brother of the world's nicest girl, it totally makes sense that he'd apply it to himself

I've always been curious about that demon king title. Fortunately it's in a humor-sense of revelation

Really enjoyed story-time with Adel though, was a very nice episode. Saddening that Fi passed on that way.
