It's more that a lot of us here spend that long gap between StrikerS and Vivid reading or listening to all the extra stuff out there.

We were lucky Nagumo translated all those sound stages, or a lot more people would be in the dark about all this.

Better then the first episode thankfully, the fight scene was short but solidly animated, hopefully the more intense fights later in the series get a bit of a budget boost.

That said, dat Fate.

Now I've ended up going back and re-watching/listening to Soundstage X again...

In StrikerS, though, they also had scenes were they backtracked between the present and some events after A's, and it happened around ep...erm...9 or so? So perhaps there will also be flashbacks in this series that will cover material for those viewers who are unaware of these things still to come?

StrikerS had the advantage of adding a layer of intrigue to the whole thing because Nanoha in particular was portrayed as a legendary figure to the common folk. That's how her flashback when she almost died worked; it added layers of mystery behind a cool figure. It's harder to do it here.

You can get some mileage out of Einhart, I guess.

Only the accident really, and even there only the basics (Nanoha was a talented kid, she pushed herself, there was an undefined accident, don't push yourself). Most of the detailed post-A's stuff was manga and sound stage stuff.

I think it's an epic scene when Einhart was making the speech about "defeat all the rulers and establish a hegemony across the heavens of Belka". If Einhart was evil, she could have killed Nove right there.
