It's always sad when what could have been a happy family together has to break up like this. It's even worse when you remember that Japan has no joint custody laws (i.e., the chosen parent gets sole custody and the other has no right to even see the child or children in question).

Not only that, but I think it's even more cruelly ironic that Mai Kadowaki played Ilyasviel von Einzbern from the Fate/Stay Night franchise, a character who suffered greatly from the sudden and non-consensual removal of her biological father from her life. Motomu Kiyokawa, who played Kozou Fuyutsuki in Evangelion and Valkenhayn R. Hellsing in BlazBlue, died on August 17, 2022 due to pneumonia. RIP

Yeah, IMAS fanbase knew him as CG P-san (Takeuchi-P in honor of being unique P-san), Yugioh fanbase knew him as Revolver while UC Gundam enthusiast would knew him as Cucuruz Doan.

As I understand, she is not related to anime industry. She works on MVs or something like that.

I had a very similar reaction and he was 18 or 19 when I looked him up back during his Haikyuu and Ace of Diamond days.

Apparently, Takahiro Sakurai is married and the public only knew about this now because of the tabloids. So, his agency has to release a statement that he's indeed married.

While I'm displeased with what the tabloids did because Sakurai's family life is a private matter, all I want to say is that I hope he's happy.
