yeah...the only real pointless scene was WW blowing away the smoke from around Barry...otherwise it was a decent episode.

I'm really curious for the future, cause I want to know what Shunsui's bankai is considering his shikai is already pretty dangerous...

Probably not, but the Pendulum Arc was a pretty rare treat that most people enjoyed.

Other arcs not so much.

Overall good episode - glad to see the SRS BUSINESS events come into play. The #1 Grinner is back in town

And I think it was scream after all, though I don't know why Barragan needed that =/

I love that Wonderweiss had a "shriek," instead of just doing his regular "oohs" and "ahhs." It makes him that much creepier.

And Hitsugaya must be majorly PO'd that his ice obelisk was broken with a single scream.

I'll have to strongly disagree, just from a few scenes:
1) Close-ups on EVERYONE.
2) Rather pointless flashback, overly long as well.
3) Backup arrived...then close-ups on all of them!
4) woooo..gaaaaah...WRYYYYYYYYY!

WW has the potential to be a really ominous character.

All that work for nothing and he has to deal with an unharmed Harribel too boot.

i don't remember aizen having a bright pink sash like that.

bleach is awesome when it follows the manga closely like this (asides from the flashback scenes. but they were still cool)

when you spend the first half of the episode recapping the last 15 mins of the last episode and then you spend a good 10mins doing closeups of the characters to build tension, you really don't build any tension at all. I really can't put too much blame on studio deen because kubo's writing is pretty bad for pretty much the rest of the manga and has just somewhat come to a better place. Anyway the variable speed cero's just seem funny, I know it adds "suspense" but it just seems inconsitent

It's kinda sad that the parts of the episode I enjoyed the most were the preview and the Shinigami's cup again.

Those "flashforwards" at the beginning of the episodes are getting more and more spoilerish. Can't believe they spoiled Wonderweiss and that huge ass creature's appearance, as well as Ukitake getting fisted (...).

Lately all OP seem to be spoiler filled, it is like if they have competition on who will spoil more =/

Best examples would be Bleach, Naruto, FMA and Fairy Tail.

and I disagree! the close ups were to be expected because of the Big Damn Heroes Moment ;p WW blowing away smoke did...what? Nothing, just cause Barry wanted to be all dramatic ;p
