Tokimeki Idol

...I can't explain why. I like IM@S and Love Live (yes Jimmy you can be an IM@S and Love Live fan at the same time, get offa my yard), and I've had a big attachment to the old Tokimemo series (the original pre-Girls Side ones).

...but this is...

Konami: "Oh hey. let's make an IM@S Ripoff and slap the Tokimemo name on it, just like how we made a Resident Evil Online Ripoff and slapped the MEtal Gear name on it!"
...urge to kill Konami rising...

- when it's not even out yet?

I'm not talking about the Love Live or IM@S games. This is Konami's stab at it.

When they make a Tokimemo pachinko game then I'll know it's true.

In Tokimeki Idol you’re the producer of 15 idol candidates at the Princess Public Music Institute. Your job as the producer is to do everything you can to help them become idols and this requires getting to know them better and building trust as a producer.
You can choose various outfits for the live performance with a variety of customizable options to choose from. The live performance parts are done in simple rhythm game fashion, but they can also be set to automatic so you don’t have to play them. The performance is then followed by a communication event where you’ll get to hang out with the girls
STOP. STOP RIGHT THERE. That's old school IdolM@ster all over again. 100% IdolM@ster, 0% Tokimemo. You're not winning me over, Konami...
