Here's my first entry as well.

I was going to wait until it was complete, but I rather post it now before it becomes Kanon banner entry # 256.

Expect changes as the days gone by (specially font related changes

)

Less than 24 hours and we already have 4 Kanon banners. Yeah. Saw that one coming. I wonder if Kanon will exceed my 50-60% estimate. C'mon people!??! Aren't there any other shows that have snow?! At least a few of you aren't making Kanon banners.

For some reason I think there wont be that many Kanon banners on the long run.

My next two banners will not be about Kanon and I am sure that also applies for everyone that already made one as well.

Actually, it's rather nice. I like all the work that you put into the white design around the character. I would suggest though that you find another image to use since it is a bit stark with only a single image. Or perhaps you could put a faded image into the background on the right.

And could you please tell me where you got that character from?

Watch out for the edges SweetHoney; There are bits of snow on both sides.

You could also try to use this character on another banner as well.

I'm starting to see what NSW means with a Kanon banner would have to compete with the other Kanon banners. It's sucha good show tho, I think people just cannot resist making one. ^_^

I was thinking that. I'm no artist, however if I were going to make one, I'd probably nab a bit from the last episode of Ah My Goddess: Sorezore no Tsubasa, which had a few snow scenes, and that's just off the top of my head. If I sat down to think about it, could surely find some other recent series with snowy themes.

due it is currently airing, kanon is the obvious choice (popular characters, winter/snow template etc), so people are getting faster inspiration for it (actually, as soon as i saw the thread, there was kanon in my head, while i'm still thinking for 2 other subjects... and believe me, i discovered kanon only recently, so the snow thing wasn't really in my head until now)

as for me, i'm thinking about 2 subjects, but this is really hard (i'm in fact avoiding christmas characters, it would be a bit silly for january/february, IMO)

but i guess that NSW warning is enough to say that it won't be THAT crowded with kanon

That being said .. testing banner .. definitely not final.

I need to digged out my brushes folder I stashed in one of my thumbdrives ;_; I just installed a few brushes in this comp ;_;
