i'm 100% genuinely curious if they bothered to edit out the weapons left in for alisha near end game for NA and EU. and how many people will actually go and complain online for buying DLC for alisha only to find out what happens later on in the story.

Doesn't really matter even if they did. The story has been haphazardly altered just to force Rose into the story and steal Alisha's role as the main heroine and even Sorey's thunder.

Well I'm actually 8 hours in and I'm enjoying it a lot, minus that janky camera.

Still after playing Tales games almost half my life I'll never understand their penchant for weathered cynical loli characters.

And this is why I have high hopes for mods. Though I'd have to find a way to play the PC version, since I don't think I hit the minimum requirements due to running XP.

Well will probably still pick this up at some point. Still kind of a shame that the game seems to fall hard on the story and characters since that would be a pretty good reason for me to play it

.

Hopefully the sales are still good enough and the next game has a bit smoother development without the same kind of crazy things going on that we saw here.

After seeing Tales of Berseria's teaser trailer I'm not highly optimistic. But I don't think Namco will do another asspull story twist at least not in the same level as Zestiria.

It seems they haven't announced the producer yet for Beseria (or whatever). I'm curious if either BanNam is stupid enough or if personaｌ code:hideo/2357.88 has enough influence inside the company to be the producer again...

Interesting. So you can't grind for massive EXP on easy monsters in Chaos mode and then revert back to a more sane mode for story purposes like you could in Graces F. Wonder if there are monster drops that get a higher rate up in Chaos mode like in Graces?

I recall the difficulty description for Hard mode would have better drop quality.

More important for some is the trophies- they give you the option of either completing a task on the second play-through (sometimes the fifth) or on higher difficulty like moderate or chaos

Preordered the game and I'm enjoying the game so far. Haven't gotten any problem yet thanksfully as some people seemed to say they had audio problems on Steam. Though there was a small patch earlier today.

Yeah, fuck you guys, the OP is absolutely fantastic. So much hate on the OP music when it was released in Japan (especially in this thread), but I can't imagine me skipping it every time I play. Like sure they cut out the vocals, but eh, I did the same thing with Tales of the Abyss, so it isn't different for me.

Just sad that I'm probably going to 7x clear Legend of Legacy before I dig deep into this (I'm only posting just so I can get the free DLC before I have to pay for it). Well, what can I say, SaGa > Tales for me, even though I spent like twice as much on Zestiria than I did on LoL. XD

Also I don't really have much time to play this

The beginning part was great but after my camera got stuck because one stupid spider decided to ambush me while I'm in one small corner of the map almost made me want to drop this

Maybe I'll continue to play this later when I'm free

Well yeah, I don't know why people didn't like the song- it is easily one of the most badass rock theme Tales ever got, the others were more pop-ish.

Vesperia is still the best OP for a Tales game for me. I mean this was good, but Vesperia is just miles ahead from the rest of the series.
