Pure lust for....

I am currently looking for a few nice anime that has no high school teenagers as the main character.

Must involves...

-Main character (adult if possible) who loves to carnage humanity, or just violent or dark and straight forward most of the time...
-Lots of blood and gore and weirdness, if possible, but it is not a necessity.
-Demons... Mafia... or anything along the way...
-A little romance is okay, but not too often.
-Sad/flipped up ending... everyone dies except for a few?
-Can be sci-fi that has some dark and weird (gets you thinking) story behind it.
-Or simply... anything that's out of the ordinary... sick... pychotic... inhumane... just for freaks with nothing but pure lust for sex, violence, hate and death... =]

Anime that is similar to...

-Berserk
-BLAME!
-Ergo Proxy
-BioHunter
-Genocyber
-M.D. Geist
-North star
-Cat Soup
-and so on...

Any suggestions would be much appreciated it, thanks!

...lol

Devilman Lady - hits pretty much all your points
Hellsing (2006)
Kemonozume - some romance stuff... but I'm inclined to think they're more in lust with each other than in love (never finished it for this reason)
Texhnolyze - hits all your points

"Black Lagoon" and "Black Lagoon: Second Barrage" pop instantly to mind. I can't think of another show that more closely fits your criteria...

Bartender is adult, but has no violence or gore. Lot's of cocktail recipes though.

I've watched those anime listed above.

Devilman Lady I find to be quite disappointed after watching it. Not very much gore or excitement. I expected it to be similar to Devilman.

Kemonozume is a rather interesting anime that I actually enjoyed watching and had a good laughed.

Hellsing OVA, only seen a few episodes so far and loved it. Currently looking forward for more.

Texhnolyze, still currently watching when there is time, but not as interesting as the other anime I've seen by far.

Anymore suggestions would be much appreciated. =]

Prefer anime like... Wicked City and Angel Cop... Princess Rouge.... Tatoon Master... anything good and classic would do as well. ^^

Battle Angel Alita and Elfen Lied (I assume you've already seen the anime), if you like manga. Other than that, I don't really venture into that area.

Death Note - main character starts to play god, and causes a lot of deaths along the way to become a real god. It is quite dark, but, it is one of the most intelligently setup stories out there.

I ma going to also mention, D. Gray Man, although the character is around high school level in terms of age, the story is dark enough to attract your attention.

LOL, I'm also picking on the suggestions here. I've never really checked out this type of anime, I guess it's about time!

I had a tough time trying to find something that hasn't already been mentioned. But after reading your first post a second time and noticing that you mention Cat Soup, I remembered Dead Leaves. It should probably be right up your alley.

The other anime you should definitely add to your list is Monster. A dark and serious story with main characters in their 20's, 30's, or older, a character who kills dozens of people without remorse, and only a hint of romance.

I would have mentioned Black Lagoon and Bartender as well.

Oh! And "Ray the Animation", which is kind of an offshoot of the BlackJack series... also, did I mention "Angelheart"? It's a much better done offshoot of the City Hunter series.

Neon Genesis Evangelion (with the End of Evangelion ending) does seem to cover some of your points.
