I wonder why they couldn't just be honest. "You were dead, but we put your brains into a new body, so you've got a new lease on life! Side effects include cognitive loss, regenerative powers, and loss of innocence synchronization. We're really hoping the third's temporary, and the first seems to be."
I'm not saying there aren't serious ethical problems with what they did, but it's not such a rough deal. |

I'm sure you and many havev realised the ominous implications and if true both Alma and Kanda have the right to hate them. |

It prob is a rough deal as they didn't do it for the benefit of the original. They did it to increase the number of soldiers, nothing more. You can tell by the training methods and what bodies were being used.

It doesn't matter why they did it. The end result is, Kanda and Alma got resurrected. Besides, they kinda need every soldier to save humanity from the Earl. Even Kanda understood that in the end. |

I forget if they said anything about whether these were their first attempts or not, though. I feel like they probably weren't given that they weren't entirely surprised that Kanda was regaining his memory and already had a way to deal with it. Odds are they were honest the first (or second) time and saw what happened, deciding it was better to just try and keep them in the dark. |

Even though I'm not a big fan of Millennium Earl, I have to say that he is a mastermind manipulator and very clever with his plans.
The fight involving Kanda, Allen Walker, and Alma this week was very emotional an intense. Also felt bad for the Third Exorcists because of Alma turning into an Akuma. The real plan was to awaken Allen Walker's inner Fourteen after the big battle so that was achieved in the end.. Damn, can't wait for next week.

They censored a LOT this episode. White lines, black lines, all sorts!
That said... the "spoilers" in the next episode preview are quickly beginning to surpass DBZ level. Pro-tip, if you can't make a preview without ruining a cliff hanger, and refuse to use a still shot, maybe change your pacing so you don't have a cliff hanger to ruin. Also take that as a warning not to watch the previews anymore for this series since this is the second or third episode in a row that's done it now. |

Alma D: his physical body is broken literally. Also interesting to learn about the origins of Alma's soul.
I like how they adapted that segment with a lot of emotions and better animation than the previous episode. The feels...I also kinda like how Allen went to attack the Millennium Earl. Kanda and Alma's relationship has been very intense and I think this episode expressed it quite well.
