Back from vacation. Managed to vote on all the matches I really cared about.

Results since I've been gone.

First rounds:

G1 - Mikoto - Meh. Voted for Shion but this was expected.
H1 - Mikan - Meh. Haven't seen any of these three shows.
G2 - Shizuku - Meh. Voted for the NyanKoi stalker girl, but Shizuko is OK.
H2 - Fate - Meh. Expected. Haven't seen Nanoha yet, but not terribly enthusiastic about the other characters anyway.
G3 - Miyako - Meh. Either don't know the characters or don't care.
H3 - Natsume - Meh. Either don't know the characters or don't care.
G4 - Momoko - Yay Momoko. Big win. Shows Saki unity and shrewdness in abandoning Touka.
H4 - Ruiko - Wow. I know there was a big turnout from the big G-block match on the other side, but what a crazy vote count for Ruiko! Not sure how I feel about this...
G5 - Poplar - Cool. I'm happy Poplar is doing well.
H5 - Tsumugi - This is fine. I voted for Rena, but it was a hard choice. Rena's poor performance is a bit disheartening though.
G6 - Azusa - Meh. Voted for Azusa without great enthusiasm, and she won as expected.
H6 - Shouko - Cool. I like Shouko.
G7 - Mio - Yay! I'm really pulling for Mio. Nice to see her actually get a second round this year.
H7 - Amu - I voted for Miki, but you can't go wrong with Cool and Spicy.
G8 - Kobato - Kobato is adorable. She deserved to win this.
H8 - Fumino - Yay. Only watched 3 episodes of MayoiNeko, but somehow I like Fumino more and more every day.
G9 - Alisa - Meh. Haven't seen Nanoha yet.
H9 - Ai - Meh. Nice that she won one I guess.

Second rounds:

A1 - Yuno - Meh. Haven't seen Hidamari, or Art Design, and didn't like Yachiyo all that much.
B1 - Nanoha - Meh. Once again, haven't seen Nanoha. Kana came closer than expected, but I'm not much of a Kana fan either. Voted Mayoi.
A2 - Nadeko - WAHAAAAT!!!!111. I thought Yui would have this for sure, but I guess a lot of people here on AnimeSuki knew a lot better than I. I'm a little bit unhappy and very much surprised at this result.
B2 - Isumi - That's right, Isumi! Just keep on going... wherever that may be.

Today:

Sorry, not a big fan of the Rie lolis, even though it's hard to imagine them losing. Votes will be Minami and Ryou.

Tacos winning Saimoe would be awesome. I wish she would have won last year.

I don't think Yuuki is the #1 or #2 for Saki character popularity, but then again I have no idea who really is. I would guess Nodoka and Mihoko.

Never expected Bakemonogatari to be so strong. I mean, I know it's popular and stuff, but to overcome even the popularity of godly characters like Rika and Yui is just... >.>

Hoping for Azusa to bring some justice in Saimoe, since she is the top waifu and all.

Stealth Momo seems to be quite popular.

She needs to avoid being dump by the rest of the Kon fandom to avoid a split against bribri with mio.

They aren't. Only Nadeko and Hitagi still survive out of Bakemonogatari.

Buying the last chapter of the K-On manga?

I knew that Yui had a high chance of losing due to history but a >100 vote loss was totally unexpected. Crazy.

You are basing this assessment from what a few magazine polls came up with? Basic lesson of history studies (applicable to most serious research): you need to cross-check your sources. DVD sales, doujin output, art websites, figurine production - if Yui is considered godly, then so too must Nadeko. Predicting her to win (by a significnat margin no less) was all but impossible but expecting her to lose with certainty was short-sighted.

Taiga: started out kinda cool, but went off the deep end with the rest of the show. Probably the most tolerable of the tsundere 4.
Yuuki (Tacos): now there is a Rie character who is actually fun
Personally, when it comes to Rie's female characters, I prefer Kamyu.

Yuuiii. ;____;

Well, at least she lost to an opponent of great strength and moe.. Good luck to Nadeko; she'll need it. With Mio and Azusa in the same block, Yui was K-On!!'s best chance. I wonder how the K-On!! fans are going to handle this loss.

Voting: Nagi,
Predicting: Nagi, Shana

Rin? The lesbian she played in Loveless was pretty cool, though Loveless wasn't exactly a great show and nobody would remember that character much anyway.
