Photobucket can handle animated gifs... not sure how thumbnails would work though...

Been a bit since I did a post... I feel this thread needs more activity since me being the only poster is kinda pointless. People should comment on more pics and post stuff they find too. deviantart.com and pixiv.net are two good places to look for high quality pics of Fairy Tail. Though average to high average pics should be posted too, especially if they have at least one nice element to them such as the content (not implying NSFW stuff, just content plain and simple), the art style, coloring, etc...

But most thumbnails require you to load two sites (the pics small sized pic then you must wait for it to render enough, so you can choose to see the fullsized option) before you can see the full sized pic too. Overall all a much longer time to see all the pics. Plus I'd still have to spoiler tag any of the thumbnail pics that have any reference to the manga... so there will still likely be scrolling required.

Are you asking for thumbnails for the two huge pics only or all of them? Sorry but the comment was rather vague...

Thumbnails in general. Having to wait for the page to load all this images can be quite a pain, and really eat at peoples internet. We appreciate that you're adding images to the thread, though it's not that much trouble to upload the images to imageshack, and just posting the thumbnail links instead.

Actually on another thread I got yelled at for doing just that... people started whining at me about how long it took them to access and save each pic...

Sorry but I have a very fast connection to the net and don't suffer from what your describing for the past few years now. My problem is more too many tabs open when running other programs too or having to wait for each one at a time to avoid lagging my pc. So I sided with them. Tell you what I'll rethink how I post pics... maybe we should have a poll on this to see what the people here want... if we where a mobile site I'd agree with you in a heart beat but since we're not I'm torn here... on one hand people with fast connections suffer on the other people with slow connects suffer.

Sorry but no. You must use thumbnails when posting huge images (like the ones that were removed from your previous post), failing to do so will simply lead to your images being either removed or turned into simple links.

Actually getting list of addresses would be a nice solution. That way I could pipe it to xargs on curl/wget (or even gthumb, but I get only thumbnails and viewing doesn't work, maybe it's fixed in recent releases, I'm using 2.11.5 from debian squeeze) or just import as session in Chrome's Session Buddy (I highly recommend this extension). Still some sample as thumbnails would be nice too. Getting big images immediately is fine too

The problem is that forum such as animesuki is not suited for posting images. min.us is nice with their zip download, but lacks integrated comments. Maybe animesuki could spin-off image-collecting (not hosting) system using min.us API or make something similar (rather w/o zip downloading to avoid stressing servers)? It would be big win for everybody. (I know, it requires some time to create such decent service).

You may ask why another kind of image board? Because most of them sucks nowadays and are rarely efficient in browsing. Just saying. .

Add

to your bookmarks as, let's say, spoilers and you can easily expand or collapse all spoilers on AS using it (assuming they were in the same state at the beginning)).
Works in Chrome (tested on Linux), not sure about other browsers whether they allow access to jQuery object from addressbar.

EDIT:
That combined with my NavigImage chrome extension http://goo.gl/dukT eases browsing through images here (assuming they are not thumbnails, and you have to increase browsable images size, Ctrl+Shift+Up, to let's say, 240x240 or more. Unfortunately for replying it is good to turn it off, because some keystrokes may collide during writing message (involving Shift and such). Enjoy.
