Tome said she was going to go to the police. The aunt said it was Tome who gave Chiko the drug, sort of threatening her. But the aunt said that going to the hassle of talking to the police was unnecessary, that she would fire Tome and give her a large severance that would enable her to buy a small shop. Tome refused and said that Chiko didn't eat the poisoned food because she could taste the poison -- unlike the aunt. That is when the aunt poured out the tea and discovered that it had been poisoned. She asked Tome what she wanted, and Tome said she wanted the aunt to set up a separate house for Chiko and send her to look after her. Tome said that if she didn't, she would go to the police, and meanwhile she would keep feeding the aunt a bit of poison, just to keep her honest.

Tome was really bluffing, right? After she left the aunt, it looked like she pulled out a second pill bottle, which I'm guessing was something harmless.

In any event, that was really clever of her. Giving Chiko and Tome their own house gives them space to do their detective thing.

Yes, Tome was actually bluffing. The second bottle said "stomach medicine" on it. I'm impressed that she managed to pull it off so well. The dynamics between Tome and Chiko in this episode was just wonderful. Also, I hope Ken will make a comeback soon.

That said, if you've read the entire thread and can't figure out which group is subbing this, you haven't been paying attention. Otherwise, I'm afraid you're on your own.

People commenting on the most recent episodes inside spoiler tags are watching the Japanese raws or, perhaps, Chinese or Korean subs.

Well, after watching episode 12, I just have to say, that I'm starting to become disappointed with this show. If you removed the last 2 episodes, the series would dramatically improve. The past 2 though, have been just idiotic with the stupid hypnosis and living doll storyline. Rather then being good, or entertaining, this arc at least for me has had the opposite effect of making the show more and more difficult to stomach. Unless this improves drastically, episode 13 will be the last one I watch of this show.

No, I'm willing to bet those sound effects were in the raw.

Sound effects in an OP sequence are one of my pet hates. They always come off as so tacky. Completely unnecessary, it's like sound effects in music video clips.

Watched 1-12 subbed and 13 + 14 raw. The series is losing it's focus, in my opinion. I miss the character growth and heists that they had early on. Those 2 years went by way too fast.

Did episode 15 air already? Since there seems to be people with knowledge of events that transpired in it.

The sound effects were in the RAW and chinese subs version.

This was so in Ep 13 and 14 as well.

Episode 12 was one action-packed episode. At first, I'd been afraid that it'd be all about Chizuko being in despair and moping the whole time, but I was really glad when they disposed of that and launched the series right into the action. If there's anything I can say about the villain, she certainly knows how to execute rude awakenings for the characters once they fall out of that trance.

Watching Chizuko go berserk was also an interesting change. Also, more backstory would be nice. They've got so much material to work with that it makes me wonder the direction the series will take now that we're halfway through, especially since Twenty Faces is still quite the enigma and almost a bit of a Mary Sue type of character.
